I bought this even though it has several negative reviews for quality and durability. I'll be honest that I have not worn this every day for the last 9 months, but I do wear it frequently. You can tell this is an under $20 bag, with kind of frankenstitched material, but it is overall a pretty cute bag that will go with most casual outfits, you could probably even dress it up if you're the type to go out with a fanny pack...that's not who I am though. The bag, being cute, is lightweight and thin with the potential to tear (mine has not.) It has 6 zippered compartments with the potential for all zippers to break (mine have not.) The belt has a cheap sketchy looking plastic clasp that you think is not going to work and according to the reviews you have decent odds it will (mine has for 9 months now.)I can sure fit a lot in here, but just keep in mind the more items you cram in, the farther out it is going to stick. When it's full it looks a bit bulky, and like maybe you're worried you won't look so cool. (But you don't worry about that, you're reading fanny pack reviews, right?)In closing, I like this bag. I don't beat it up with an active lifestyle, it's a good price, isn't hideous and holds a lot. I wonder what they call fanny packs in England?

MIRACLE ODOR KILLER !!! IT WORKS IN 48 HOURS...
Yes, when you receive the leather lambskin fanny pack it will have a rather barn like odor (that's my nose talking). I read many of the reviews and thought I'd try the baking soda but wanted it faster than 30 days. I've owned a fanny pack like this before and absolutely LOVE it. Those little pockets are perfect for me . I fill them with Altoids. But I digress. Here's my formula and it works in 2 days:I cut up an old T shirt (you can use any tightly woven material) and cut large and small pieces. The larger ones were about 12"x12" and then cut them smaller for the smaller pockets. The tiny side pockets were about 4"x4". For the larger one I used about 1/2 cup of baking soda and then guessed how much from there. The smallest pockets required only about one Tablespoon. Pour the baking soda in the middle of the piece of fabric.THEN THE NEXT STEP...this is the killer deal: Perfume or Cologne (of your choice) !!! Just as the baking soda will absorb the purse odor it will also absorb most of the perfume or whatever fragrance you want to use. It leaves a mild pleasant fragrance. I used two sprays on the baking soda in the larger pocket bags and one squirt for the little ones. The next day I gave it a few sniffs. Not yet. Today...I have been happily checking it from time to time for about 8 hours to make sure it held good. It's GREAT! Carefully pull out the bags so the baking soda doesn't spill out. It won't hurt the fanny pack it but it could be a bit messy. Dry baking soda has a slight gritty feel.Go for it! It's a great fanny pack.

Versatile as Fanny pack or cross purse
Slightly larger than I need but works great. Can be used as a fanny pack or extend the strap and wear across the shoulder. Has plenty of space and live the extra zipper compartments.

5 Star to 1- New flaw is that bad... "Fanny pack has only one flaw" is no longer true...
Update 10-2024I do not like anything in my pockets and this 6-pocket design is perfect. The patchwork leather looks great and is rigorous- this never failed yet. BUT my latest bag had hanging threads all over the place, which unravel the seam (a gentle test tug and, "Whoa!") out of the box. I had to inspect every seam and burn off at least 8 hanging threads. That is Way Bad. If I hadn't seen one immediately looking for the vinyl problem...I have bought 5 or more over the last 15y, and my last three have a narrow vinyl piece instead of leather around the front cargo pocket extension. After one year, the vinyl fails, splits and things start falling out. There is One Seller of this otherwise perfect design. 1 Star ratings for the same flaw. There is one with pics and there that ripping pocket is. Why they would do that is mind boggling.I gave my seamstress two to fix but haven't heard back in a while. Now it will be three. Oil well.At least the flaw will be gone and I have several years of free bags ahead. These are really great bags.It is a $10 bag.Ok my 4 Star review is below. The Fanny PackMy Personal Fanny Pack History/Credentials:1. I don't like my pant or shirt pockets filled with anything. Everything goes in the bag.2. I have been buying fanny packs for decades as a long-distance hitchee hikee, wilderness hiker, international traveler, street skater, and general urban animal and well-dressed stud muffin. This bag is:1. Roomy, with length and depth to handle anything I typically carry on my person, but is really spare in in size.2. Durable, last 'good' bag endured 2 years of daily use and abuse with no failures in zips or seams until the leather wore out under the main compartment. So- 2 to three years was a geriatric Olympian's lifetime for a $10 bag.3. Soft and elegant leather held its color, seams and finish.4. 6 zippered compartments with sturdy metal zippers/handles make the smallest things 1 zip away and the main compartment is the biggest I have found on small packs.5a. Typically Swiss Army knife, Zippo (Juicy Bar, now) and keys in slim front pocket;pocket wallet in large front compartment;phone, eyeglass case. energy bars, box of cigs (no more"! and other bulk items with my pen on top keep finding their space in main compartment;spare batteries (No more, iPhone 12 Pro Max replaced Lumia 950XL), note paper, passport and tri-folded documents in rear flat storage;two triangular end pockets for ear buds, parking meter change or easy access to other tiny objects are the belt attachment points.5b In Covid, I moved my wallet and N95 to the main compartment and kept my PPE in front main pocket. Sanitizer mini btl., sani gloves, anti-fog for my eyeglasses, spare one-use masks, alcohol wipes, etc.And finally:I bought two, one for my landlord; never used because "I don't like fanny packs." So. when my bag failed after 2 years of daily use, I then moved into the gift bag.The (formerly) only flaw:The belt:1. adjustable web belt is thin gauge, so plastic slides slips out to larger waist size requiring 'fixing' belt size with a stitch or just using bag as shoulder or cross body carry- where 'fixing' the size is not adjustable to my daily garments (so, not 'fanny' at all)1a I am thinking a knot might fix the sizing problem. I dunno, prob'ly tacky, but the staple is its own hazard.2. the plastic belt clip pops open under duress (squatting, tight due to garments, etc.)Despite the flaws, it remains on my list as the only real choice for a leather fanny pack. And the product remains in the original Store, so other buyers provide consensus. And, what do you want from life?A baby's arm holding an apple? It is a $10 bag.

Pouch NOT all leather.
The tag says the body is genuine leather and the trim is simulated. Is the side pocket considered trim, because it's a laminate of some sort? In my country it's called leatherette. Several In purchased would tear in the side pocket.
