We bought this along with a few other cough medicines when our kids had a horrible cough. We liked this because of the natural ingredients and tried it out. It of course didn't get rid of the cough but it definitely alleviated it. Now its one of the staples in our medicine cabinet. I will say the only down side, is the taste isnt the greatest. But when you are coughing up a storm, taste is the last thing you care about.

So my little has been using zarbees since she was an infant (she’s three now; almost four). She has reactive airway disease and often is inflicted with a bad cough especially around spring and summer time. Zarbees was fine and worked well but Maty’s has several ingredients that improve overall health that zarbees does not have.I will say my little prefers the taste of Zarbees. I imagine it is the ginger and clove that she is not a fan of, but she will still drink it. It works super fast and well as an expectorant. She immediately starts coughing up the gunk in her throat after taking it and the honey soothes. Just a great natural product that I love and trust.My only complaint is that if you don’t wipe the top bottle off after pouring some out it will drip even after you put the lid back on. And I worry that when we travel the lid will not stay secure. We have traveled with it in the past on a road trip and it was a pain. My suggestion to the company would be to please make the lid a child safety lock and make the top not as wide.

My two sons recently took this when they had really nasty phlegm. It was making them miserable. The nighttime version had them sleep through the night in peace. It's breaking up their mucus! My youngest will not cough stuff up, he HATES IT. He hasn't had to because it broke the mucus down so well. My older son (10) has been coughing stuff up no problem thanks to this stuff. SAVED US!

I love the ingredients and to have this as an option in my medicine cabinet but the taste is awful so it’s a chore to get my child to take this.

Works great. I feel less stress knowing the ingredients are natural and safe for my kids. My husband and I use it too. It’s unfortunate that’s the price is going up so high. I might need to start trying to find another natural brand if matys keeps raising their prices.

My daughter is not a fan of the taste. It's a bit gritty, but I have tasted worse. Smells good. Seems to kinda work.

It's a good product if can get past its terrible smell and taste.Luckily it's so sweet, my kids just swallow it. But I will not buy it again. Makes me gag when I pour it out for them.

I was looking for a cough syrup for adults without any medical side effects. This is why i chose one for kids.The day before i purchased, I returned to Walgreens to another brand- that had a terrible aftertaste and was expensive compared to this one.This brand has a great taste and it works! After 2nd use i already felt relief and it helped me to sleep through the night.I love the day/ night options and pack has a great value.Definitely would purchase again!

2.5y old didn’t like it, i tried as well, very “either like it or not taste”For what he did have, i didn’t notice any changes for better. It’s possible we took too little for too short period of time butI came to the conclusion I could have just given my toddler the honey we already had

I receive my bottle today and when I opened it I found the safety seal lift and the plastic open. Now I don’t feel safe giving it to my 1 year old
