It actually browns on top!!
We have been really struggling with finding a good flour. We found this only because it was named self-rising flour and that's what grandma's peach cobbler called for. Wish the cost was not so high, but if you're only making one or two deserts a month, it's not so bad.mine came in a bag though, not a box like the picture.

Excellent quality. Too Pricey
Too small an amount to justify the price.Great quality gluten-free flour. Made wonderful biscuits when combined with another gluten-free flour. Haven't tried it alone, yet.

Bad ingredients
I bought this for my daughter who is on a gluten free and corn free diet. Nowhere in the item description does it mention the ingredients. There is no reason to suspect that there would be corn in gluten free self rising flour, but there is.. smh surprise surprise smh. At the very least customers should be able to view the ingredients of a non- returnable product. smh

Should be much cheaper
It isn’t like the real flour but it’s gluten free

Biscuits
good flour. Can use as replacement for gluten flour in recipes. Not grainy like someone poured sand in your batterBut doesn't rise as well as wheat flour. But a good substitute

Best gluten free flour for baking
We found a recipe using this flour for a cake and decided to try it. It is one of the best. My son is allergic to wheat so I have been testing gluten free products for over 10 years. We have used this in cakes, breading for chicken/fish, bread. You name it! It has one of the closest consistency to regular flour. I just wish it was available in more places in the US. It is more expensive than some gluten free flours for the amount you get but it is worth it if you are baking a special cake etc.
