Spoiler ahead.I first saw this movie in the nineties and loved the wacky mix of fun one-liners, colorful characters, curious, if short, discussions, and barely-there murders. I rewatched the movie a few days ago and boy is this movie relevant now! Though the technology in the movie has not aged well, the psychological core of it has persisted and is very relevant now. I live this movie, though it's a guilty pleasure as there is a ton if ridiculous moments there.

EXCELLENT FUN!
Excellent, good, twisted, sarcastic fun! Courtney B. Vance is terrific. The late, GREAT Bill Paxton is wonderful as the southern bigot! This is well worth the money! Those tomato plants grew in abundance!

The last supper
A low budget black comedy about the insanity of social justice and political views.A group of college friends who feel they are intellectually enlightened enjoy meeting new people and getting to know them by inviting them to supper. But after an altercation leads to them killing their latest invite who as strong opposing viewpoints, they begin to hatch a plan in which they believe that they can make the world a better place by killing off those with different political and social views. One by one they invite those they disagree with to what would become for them THE LAST SUPPER.Starring Cameron Diaz in one of her first onscreen performances, also starring ‘The XFiles’ Annabeth Gish, Ron Eldard, Jonathan Penner & Courtney B Vance, with SNL’s Nora Dunn.Guest starring Bill Paxton, Jason Alexander, Charles Durning, Mark Harmon and Ron Perlman. This film is a factory on demand DVD. But this is one of those unique films that definitely deserves a CRITERION BLURAY release.

One of my favorites.
This is a brilliant political satire that explains social justice mentality with a few jokes at the cost of other extremes.
