It’s the best keyboard ever for those who play desi or Indian music. It has literally everything you need. The rhythm are awesome. The riyaz option is beyond the world.

The options for Indian musical instruments is good and the recorded vocals are very helpful for beginners.

This is a good keyboard. I realy enjoys! Few things to note-- 1) Style -volume you cant adjust so when you play with other instruments, style volume dominates most of the song. 2) Beginners who understand rhythm then its good.Hope you will enjoy this PSR I500.

Not intuitive. Need an instructor to teach the keyboard features

The keys did not have uniform sound volume when pressed down with equal pressure.

I am Indian but lives in Atlanta, USA.I wanted to buy Indian Instrumented Keyboard for that I have waited for a long period to get this product out. Finally, I got this from Amazon, Thanks to Amazon.The Yamaha PSR 500 KEYBOARD Quality is Excellent, and the Sound Speakers are very Clear.Mainly, It has 40 Indian Musicals Voices and Styles example Tabla, Sitara, Taals, Pungi, Harmoni, Flutes, and Many more. I would definitely suggest if you are looking for this type of Instrument please don't hesitate to buy from Amazon.comI would rate this with 5 Stars.

I have had various keybords over the year, casio, roland etc. This is the best so far, I love various Indian instrument voices and in love with various styles. Sound quality is excellent , it's lightweight and easy to work with. I am sure I will enjoy for many years.

I have 2 main review subject.1. The delivery process by USPS!Excellent product without any doubt! But less star for Amazon's delivery service through USPS! Worst experience ever! This product cost me almost $800 with tax & extended warranty. But, USPS gives a damn about that! Who cares about my money? They mishandled and torn the package/box, everywhere there are marks & scratches of dragging & putting other heavier parcels' on top of it. Over that, I got it after 2 days from my delivery date. Had to go to nearest USPS office to learn about what is going on as Amazon's customer service representative could not help me about the information of delayed deliver and even had to pick it up mid-way from road (not even my house) to get it faster as I had other appointment to catch as the delivery would take unknown time.. So disappointing!! Thank God that the keyboard is working okay.***Amazon should take care of this USPS delivery issue. USPS is the worst carrier & how could Amazon put hundreds of dollars worth product them to handle & deliver safely ?? 👎👎👎Now review on2. The product.This is specially made by Yamaha for Indian musical instrument tones and rhythms. Excellent product for live playing & composing indian and South Asian classical music instruments & songs as well as western tones & rhythms like other Yamaha keyboards. This key-board is the most latest & upgraded version of Yamaha's I-series (here I stands for Indian musical instrument). It has load of functions, styles/tones & reyaz styles for Indian classical raaga & taals. Modern age composing & recording options. I already have composed so many songs for my You tube channel with it & with excellent result. This is not a beginner's key-board. As there is no educational or how to use videos about this product on You tube yet! So, firstly you need to know about keyboard using options or else it will be hard to use all the functions & get the full benefit of this awesome keyboard. Every Indian music composer should have this product.
