Hunter Sprinkler PGV101MM PGV Series 1-Inch Globe Male by Male Valve with Flow Control

One of my valves failed at the start of this year's irrigation season and was not fully closing, allowing water to constantly trickle out of the sprinklers on that line. I found this valve, which is the exact model I needed, for $10 less than any local supplier, with free shipping. It arrived reasonably quick, given how far away it was coming from. It arrived in perfect condition, and installed easily, by unscrewing the old one and screwing this one into place. The existing solenoid was still good, and was interchangeable, so I used the old one to avoid dealing with the electrical, and still have a brand new solenoid available when/if one fails in the future. Everything went well enough I have since ordered another one as a spare, so I have one on the shelf when another one fails, since the old valves are now 10+ years old.

The order was placed on Monday, and fulfilled before 10 on Wednesday during one of the hottest August in years, allowing my sprinkler tech to complete the work by Wednesday afternoon. Thanks!

The valve works right, It's perfect for home use.
