This rod is awesome first time out caught a rock bass 7 trout and 9 horny head minnows. Very sensitive. I paired it with a 2/3 weight reel which is a little light for balance but still awesome. I might put a little heavier reel to balance better. Definitely worth the money 💰 very sensitive and well made

I have been out on the water about 10 times since receiving this rod, and it's no joke. This rod performs really well, is very light, and is a great choice for someone who wants to try Euro nymphing without buying a $200 rod. I've had bigger trout on this rod (16"-21") and it has a great backbone that can fight those bigger fish and protect the leader.It can cast a long Euro leader with ease. I run a 21'-30' leader on mine, and this rod has just the right action to cast this long of a leader without a problem.I also really like the look of this rod. The wood burl reel seat looks really nice. My brother also bought this rod on my recommendation and the seat has a different pattern on every rod.Whether you are new to Euro nymphing, or just want to get another rod for your lineup, this rod is a great one to pick up.

I am very pleased with this rod it exceeded my expectations I'm a guy who worries more of function than fashion I have used it to indicator and high stick nymph it does all I need for both longest I have fished with it was 7 hrs one outing it is a little heavy but I have no complaint for sensitivity I was feeling small trout only a few inches long bite I evened out the balance with one of my little larger real and that helped with the weight I'm pleased only thing that caused me to only give it 4 stars is the weight but it's not a thousand dollar rod definitely worth the money and I don't regret it as an entry level rod for euro nymphing

Nice rod worth every penny for the money

What a great Euro Nymphing combo I set up for under 130.00. First time using it was impressed with the sensitivity. Great product with a fair price. Thanks MaximumCatch for the great price that lets me get more combos for different fly fishing scenarios

This is my first nymphing fly rod. I got this one due to the price and me being new to the technique. I have another maximumcatch rod that I enjoy so I gave it a shot. Very happy with it and a buddy that has a similar style rod that was 3x the price was also super impressed.

I have really liked this rod. For the price you can’t beat it. I have landed a couple dozen trout to 20 inches on it and it has worked greatEditStill love the rod but it’s a little heavy. If you really wanted a 3wt I would order the 2wt. Just thought this would be helpful

Really like the length of this rod and the action. The guides are a little large, but that's ok. For the price, you get here what would cost well over $100+ from other companies
