Very functional oil drain plug gaskets. Fit perfect into my Toyota and avoid any oil leaks by producing a perfect seal on the oil drain plug in my car. Definitely a good value for my money.

I have a 2025 Toyota RAV4 and wanted to do an early first oil change. My car has about 2,000 miles on it which is a little more than I wanted for my first change. I looked for OEM drain plug gaskets and found these. They appear to be OEM and my package was made in Japan. I read a lot of reviews about people doing their oil changes and finding the drain plug loose after using these gaskets. I'm not sure if that's because they didn't have an oem gasket or because the gasket wasn't installed right. These gaskets are only supposed to go on one way. One side of the washer has a thicker amount of blue material on it. That side is supposed to go up against the oil pan and the thin layer of blue material goes up against the drain plug bolt. After taking the factory drain plug out the factory gasket was stuck to the pan. I had to get a flat blade screwdriver in order to get it to pop off, but it did not leave any residue behind on the pan. That's as far as I have gotten as of now. In another six or eight thousand miles I'll report back and let you know how these gaskets did compared to what Toyota put on at the factory. Will also upgrade rating to 5 stars if they work like the factory gasket.

These are definitely OEM. The one on the right is the factory Toyota gasket and the one on the left is the one I used for the car's first oil change. I measured them and checked material and they are identical in every way needed. I changed my oil on my brand new 2024 Camry at 1000 miles today..... (I do changes on brand new cars of mine at 1k, 3k, 6k, 10k and then every 5k miles after that. I have a few drivers in my household and maintain the cars to run like new until at least 200k miles, so I start them all off right on excellent maintenance and don't trust my car disappearing to some mystery part of the shop to maybe not get the right quality work done on it-so I do it myself. I don't mess around with inferior products and that includes the last detail down to the oil gasket. These are perfect and I like getting OEM at a fair price without the hassle of dealing with/driving to the dealership.

Toyota parts counter at some dealerships are not a pleasant experience. These gaskets at over $2.00 each and they dole them out like gold coins. The amazon product is Toyota and good quality and more than fairly priced. Save yourself the frustration of a toyota parts counter visit.
