Love it! Gonna keep order it!
As event & street photographer, I always take lot photos from the event and street. I was keep look for a good print quality and cheap price photo printer that I can test-out the detail and color before send the final image to photo lab for production. I got Canon MX922 as printer and I ordered 4 difference photo papers from amazon to test out which one is best fit for my need. Epson paper does okay, the color is little bit washed out. Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy II did very good with portrait photos. Color is very accurate, the glossy look more like finish product for sharing or hand to client directly. If you just want to print family photo for your friend or family member get this one. Canon Photo Paper Plus Semi-Gloss quality is great but price is little bit higher than Glossy or Matte. Now come to the Canon Photo Paper Matte: Pro: 1. Cheap price. 2. Printed color very accurate. Look 96~98% same as the photo lab print. 3. Show great details of the photo, better than glossy paper. 4. No light reflection as glossy paper. Con: 1. Lighter and soft than glossy paper. 2. No sure but it look like use more ink than glossy paper print :) Over all I am very happy with this item, it fit what I need. If you are look for photo paper for causal family photos like birthday party or holiday like christmas get the Canon Photo Paper Glossy II, you can print and share within few secs and look better. If you look for next level like landscape, travel photo or want to hang it on wall with photo frame. Matte does better job than Glossy II paper.

Great photograph paper....BUT.....
First off, photos look great on this paper!!! I have an Epson ET-4800 printer (which is far from high end....) and had no problems. BUT!!!!! 2 things... First do not confuse the stiff packing card as one of the photo sheets. Second (and this is the big one) make sure you print to the right side!!! There is no instructions or markings - I had to figure it out the hard way.....the correct print side is the bright white side. The back is the off white side. Luckily, I only wasted 4 sheets before it dawned on me. If you do print to the back by mistake, you will know it - the pictures will print with a faded look. But you can "recycle" that sheet and re-print to the other side!!!!

How to tell the printable side
I agree with everyone who praised the quality and slammed Canon for not clearly indicating the printable side of the paper. (How much could it cost?) My solution: the paper comes in a plastic wrap package with a flap that folds over the top. With the pkg closed and the fold facing you, the non-printing side is facing you. I used a marker and wrote that on the pkg for future use. Because paper is loaded into almost all printers with the non-printable side facing up, it's easy to remove them from the pkg and place them in the printer.

Beautiful colors reproduction
If you're expecting the somewhat shinny matte paper that you get from photo shops, don't buy this one (buy Ilford Premium Pearl Photo instead). I was disappointed when I first openned the package to find "regular" paper. The paper has a brighter white and a little more weight than regular printer paper. Having said that, this paper produces beautiful warm skin tone and brilliant white compared to the Canon Glossy II [which seems to have a greenish tint when compared side by side]. Love the fact that I don't have to worry about finger print. The only negative thing I can say about the image quality is that pictures appear to be overall darker than the glossy paper [especially in the shaded area]. Give this paper a try if you can get over the feeling of being ripped off b/c it feels like regular paper. Better yet, give Ilford Premium Pearl Photo paper a try and you won't be disappointed.

Great quality and very thin
Photos look great on the prints. However, the paper itself does very thin.

Card stock, not photo paper
This is not photo paper, it is card stock. It does not have any photo finish and the ink sinks into the paper making the photo look dull

Makes the colors so vibrant!
I absolutely love this photo paper! I love it so much more than the glossy paper II by canon. It makes the colors in my photos pop so much too. And it almost makes the photos look more crisp in my opinion. They actually have more detail than glossy photo paper. At first I had it faced upside down. The photos came out grainy looking when I printed on the wrong side. Also there’s a couple thick pieces of cardboard in the stack that I accidentally printed on since I just took a stack and placed it all in the feeder. So beware of using the right side and make sure to fish out the cardboard pieces. I used the canon TR 8622a for these prints

Not great for my printer
This product is exactly as described 4 x 6 matte paper. Picture bougie note cards. I think the product itself is not bad, but my printer did not love this paper. I have an Epson ink tank printer, and no matter what setting I chose the pictures came out overly dark and unrecognizable.

High quality paper at a good price

Horrible paper! It is nothing more than thick paper, and NOT matte photo style, as I was expecting. So maybe it is my fault for being a paper ignoramus but I was expecting the non-glossy style of photo paper like photos used to be, before gloss.

Used with my Brother MFC-J6920DW printer to print save the date "postcards" for my Wedding. Works great, looks like it came out of a print shop. This paper feels like card stock and has a smooth finished side that you can print great quality photos and graphics on. The backside is not suitable for photos but I was able to print text on it and it was OK but not fantastic. This paper does not feel like photo paper, it feels like card stock so if you are looking for something with just a low gloss or something that has a plasticy or clear coat finish this product is not for you. This is more like the paper you would see on a business card or a greeting card.

Using them

Used it to print my daughter's wedding pictures. Beautifull result, colours are bright & since the photo paper is "Matte" less glare from any source of lights. I will for sure purchase more in the future, hoping they have more available size.
