The Noctua NA-SCW1 Cleaning Wipes are fantastic for cleaning off thermal paste. They make the process incredibly easy and efficient—much better than using liquid with a Q-tip or cloth. These wipes are perfectly designed for the job, leaving no residue and making cleanup quick and hassle-free. I’ve used them multiple times while swapping out CPUs and AIO coolers, and they’ve become an essential part of my PC toolkit. They’re easy to use, easy to dispose of, and provide consistent results every time. After trying these, I won’t use anything else. Highly recommend!

These wipes work well to clean both the CPU IHS and CPU Fan heatsink ( only 1 wipe needed for both if used effectively). These are great for a clean removal of thermal paste and are great to give around for friends that might need them in the future. One thing that I have a small complaint about is that they can be too wet at times which causes a overflow of alcohol that could leak beyond the CPU IHS, so be sure to see if theres too much alcohol in the wipe before wiping your CPU.

The pads clean old paste off CPU and Cooler surfaces but leave a residue best wiped off with a facial tissue or paper towel before it dries. I used WD-40 as it does a better job cleaning but carries the risk of damaging PCB surfaces if it comes in contact with them.

I bought this to clean old thermal paste from my Mac Pro 6,1 (Late 2013) "Trashcan" GPU and CPU. Theoretically, it is not necessary to buy a product to clean thermal paste, as there are many DIY/store-bought solutions. However, I just wanted an ease of mind, hoping for a simple, lintless solution. This product provided it. Though my thermal paste was not all hard/cracking (still somewhat in paste form), these wipes did a good job removing excess residue. Also, it is not smelly like the Arctic branded ones. It doesn't smell like anything from a table's length. I did not put it on my nose to smell it though (I don't recommend doing that). The only bad thing is that the wipes are super wet. As a result, they take a while to dry. Furthermore, after drying, they leave a bit of a "dried up liquid" residue (see photo). The instruction says it doesn't matter though.

I have no complaints about these -- 99% IPA is hard to find lately, and these did the job very well. They can be used for new thermal pads as well -- I was able to replace the stock thermal pad on a new AMD Wraith Prism cooler and wipe it off completely with these. Great to have around if you work on computers a lot, especially lately. Fully recommended.

These are basically isopropyl cleaning wipes from Noctua. Before you run out to get medical isopropyl alcohol from your cabinet, you should be aware that this product is made specifically for computers; the isopropyl alcohol in these wipes is a much higher purity than what you find at any typical store. Medical-grade isopropyl alcohol has too much water, and that may harm your electronic device. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product. I won't build a computer without a box of these nearby. It'll leave a bit of harmless residue that may be annoying, but that comes off with a microfiber cloth.

These wipes seem to use a dual liquid formulation. Isopropyl alcohol and something else. The isopropyl alcohol dries quite quickly and there is a second compound that keeps the wipe wet for quite a long time. The material of the wipes is quite strong and does not spread on the sharp edges of small microchips.
