If any of my friends discover that I'm using an eye cream at night, I'll have to leave the country, but it's true. Never in my life have I ever thought I'd use any kind of skin cream or conditioner (I guess I simply don't care what I look like), but here's the thing: I'm a writer and I tend to work late, late at night and often through the night. When I wake up the next morning (ummmm, afternoon), I sometimes look like I've gone ten rounds in a boxing ring--I have terrible dark rings under my eyes. I looked in the mirror one day and scared myself, lol. So I decided to try something and since I'd been given products from this company in a hotel once, I thought I'd try it. OK, so does it work? Well, yes, it does help reduce the puffiness and I think also the dark rings. I think this is a kind of gradual improvement thing for the most part and also has to do with how much sleep I'm getting, etc. But I do see some improvement and it also feels kind of nice. I use it sparingly but that's mostly a price thing because, to be honest, this is pretty much out of my normal price range (thus the four stars instead of five). But I'll keep using it until the bottle runs dry and maybe I'll look a bit less like a vampire for a while.

As men age, they are experiencing the same issues as women around their eyes. Since most of them don't wear sunscreen, they are more apt to get wrinkles around their eyes. Also, bags are more apparent in men. My son recently started to complain that he could take a vacation for a week if he could pack his under eye bags and considering his schedule, he probably could. He has now used this for a week and swears it is helping reduce the black circles and puffiness around his eyes. He is growing up at a time where is acceptable for a guy to have a skincare routine. He has super sensitive skin and uses a retin a product to help with his acne and this has caused no irritation or reaction with the medication. The formula is very rich and creamy yet it soaks in quite rapidly. I would really compare it to a better cream than department store brands for men. The scent is light and clean and it dissipates quickly after application. I have tried to get him to use it twice a day but he does manage to apply right before bedtime. You only need a tiny amount (maybe a pump) to cover both eyes.

There are things I both like and dislike about this eye cream. It claims to nourish, reduce puffiness, and reduce dark circles under your eyes. I have been using this under my eyes every night for a few weeks and here is what I've noticed. 1. Nourishing: Normally, the skin under my eyes looks a tad dry, almost like crepe paper at times. This has totally gone away since using this cream, so I LOVE the nourishing feature here. 2. Reduce Puffiness: I don't generally have very puffy eyes, unless I'm suffering from sinus issues and allergies. I didn't notice any difference and did have puffiness when allergies flared up, so I'm not entirely convinced of the claim to reduce puffiness, though different people have puffiness for different reasons, so this may be just me. 3. Reduce Dark Circles Under Eyes: Ok, this is the one that REALLY disappointed me. I inherited my dark circles from my Dad, whom I love dearly, but I really really dislike my dark circles. I've tried just about everything, so to hear about a product, organic no less, that claims to reduce dark circles is a must-try for me. Sadly, I didn't' notice any reduction at all in the dark circles under my eyes. Fail. Now, I do value the organic claim to this product as I'm becoming more aware of what I put in and on my body. I go on faith with this claim that the manufacturer really is using organic ingredients. So this is a plus for me, and combined with the feel and more moisturized skin under my eyes I like this product, but it does not meet the other two qualities I was hoping for, so I give it 3 stars. I do like the gentle scent, and a little goes a long way.

Well, age is hard to defy....sooner or later, it comes on... some of us wake up with eyes that leads others to think we were in a bar fight the night before...how sad... I have been using this for a week, and do notice an improvement in the mornings... it does not make me look 30 yrs younger, lets get real...but we take any improvements we can get!!! I love the fact its all natural ingredients... I react to lots of skin products, but this one did not bother me, so kudos to the maker....
