Survived longer than other toys.
We have a Dachshund, that chews everything. This is one of the toys that has lasted the most (weeks), so I'm impressed. We fixed some parts and lasted quite long, vs others that hadn't survived the first day.

A favorite toy for my dogs that they can’t gut and destroy
First off, I strongly recommend Fluff and Tuff toys - they are as durable as they claim. No toy can totally stand up to a determined chewer, but I’ve found that shape is as important as construction in finding the right toy that will stay around longer than 2 hours. I have Malamutes - they’re big, fluffy love bugs with humans and hardcore predators with critters and anything moving out in the yard. They are death on toys. They’ll go right for the squeaker, gutting any new toy within minutes in order to pull out the squeaker (“kill” it) and then rip out the stuffing (“gut” it). It’s what they do. Then I discovered these toys. I tried a range of shapes - the parrot died a very quick death after our one Mal ripped the wings off within an hour, the alligator lasted a few days until they finally ripped the legs off, dinosaurs or anything with appendages they could get their teeth on while holding the body down with their paws were toast. Even the hedgehog died quickly - just round enough that they could pop it like they do tennis balls. Then I found these fish. This blue koi is one of my dogs’ favorites. They have three of them in various stages of hard wear - all several months old now. Other than the corners of the fins, there’s really nothing to grab on to. They’re not round, so they can lay more flat in my dogs’ mouths while they squeak them (how do they do that rapid squeak - it’s crazy). We now have this blue koi, the orange and white koi, the rainbow trout, the small shark, and the giant shark. The sharks get beat up the most because they have more sharp angles, but they’re still hanging in there after months of use. The dogs love walking around the yard and house with a fish in their mouths - it’s pretty cute. The girl of our pair will howl as she squeaks - I kid you not, she’ll squeak her fish a few times, then give a little howl, then squeak, and then a little howl again, sometimes squeaking and howling at the same time. The big guy likes to toss his around, pounce on them, then run through the yard with the fish in his mouth. Every couple of weeks, I gather up all the fish, throw them in mesh laundry bags, and run them through the washer and dryer. When the dryer chimes and I start to take out the fish, the dogs will be right there waiting - it’s new toys all over again! Seriously, once you find the critter shape that works for your dog, this toy will make your and your dog very happy. Money well spent!

Pretty sturdy but not indestructible
I have four dogs. This has survived them for a few months without being ripped to shreds. That said, they did chew the fins off, but still, I’ll consider it a victory given most fluffy toys don’t last five minutes (literally) around here. Does a pretty good job of living up to the brand promise.

One of our dog's two favorite toys
My dog loves to play tug. She also likes to fetch. This toy is great for both. It's a little big for her, she's only 36lbs. But her favorite tug is the hug-and-tug where she can hug the toy with her front paws while tugging. This fish can do that. It's held up really well. We hold the tail and she grabs the fish with her mouth and paws and has a big tugging time. We've played with it almost daily for over a year and it's still going strong. It would take some work, but she could chew it apart if she wanted to. She just loves this toy too much to want to destroy it. It's a near constant companion, she snuggles with it, uses it as a pillow while she chews on bones, brings it to us for a game of fetch or tug.The toy is expensive but we've gotten so much use out of it, it's worth it. My dog loves this fish so much we bought a back-up.

Ozzy the Destroyer
Ozzy has had this toy for a week and has not torn it up yet. This is his second Fluff & Tuff toy and both of them are still intact. The first was the caterpillar (small) and it is intact after 2 weeks. I bought it because it did not have legs or arms and those are usually attack points. The shark has fins, but those have remained intact so far. We are getting the stingray today. Success!

Best Toy On The Market
Someone mentioned these toys on a FB page that I belong to. I decided to check these toys out since my pup loves to play hard and chew hard. She has four of these animals now. Some of them are going on two years old and still hold up strong. These toys and Kong are the go to toys.

Love Fluff and Tuff Toys!
Great, durable, washable and stand up to our Golden who occasionally takes them outside into the elements with her. We have bought several other brands previously, but now stick to Fluff and Tuff as they stand up to our chewer :)
