Cryocuff Rocks!
As a former athlete with a bum knee, the Cryocuff system takes away all of the mess and most of the annoyance of having to ice down my knee. And yes, because of the convenience I do it more often and for longer durations without the fear of frostbite.

Don't! Just don't! Go motorized.
The theory behind this system makes sense, but the reality is you're left, quite literally, aching firvreluef that is slow in coming. And, the cannister vacuum sealed itself to the point not even my very strong so I can get it opened. Can't return it because we took a couple of tools to it trying to lift the lud a bit to release the vacuum. Spend the extra money and get the system with the motor. Also, the glued seam on the cuff came undone after three weeks. All-in-all, very disappointed. And yes, I bought the motorized cannister ... But now the cuff is junk.

Great, for arthroscopic knee surgery.
A number of friends had highly recommended this product to assist my recovery from arthroscopic knee surgery. When I asked my surgeon and his PA, they both said I wouldn't need it, that it was more appropriate for a knee replacement.IN MY CASE THEY WERE WRONG. I wish i had purchased it immediately, but even five days post surgery, it significantly reduced my swelling and pain. I used it almost every night for about three weeks ( and sometimes during the day) Excellent product!

Works perfectly!
This worked perfectly as described. Kept large pieces of ice solid for most of the day. Worked really well with arm cuff.

Works but not design isn’t the best
I had rotator cuff surgery and purchased the shoulder add on. Because this is a gravity feed system, the only way to fill the shoulder cooling pack filled is to get the ice bucket above your shoulder. And you must close the air release valve before lowering it or the ice water will drain out.My technique was to open the air release valve, lift the ice bucket with my good arm (left) and balance the bucket on my head. Once the shoulder ice water pouch is full, I close the air release valve with 1 finger. Once the air valve is closed, I lower the bucket and disconnect the hose.

Hubby Loves His Cuff!
My husband is currently healing from right shoulder surgery #5 (thanks D1 football in the 70s)! Between his knees & arms, he's the Bionic Man. A friend, also former D1 athlete, said my husband would thank me if I surprised him with this cuff. Well, it's Day #4 and hubby said he wishes he had this for his 10+ previous surgeries. Doesn't even need his heavy pain meds anymore. He thanks me constantly for the relief!! Yes, manual is a hassle but he appreciates the attention and it's no biggie! Super easy process. Buy it now.

Excellent product for icing injured knee
Have already recommended this product to several people suffering from knee injuries. I was originally recommended it by two other people that swear by it. It makes icing your knee on and off for hours very easy. But if you have a knee injury you will need to have someone do this for you because you can’t hop along on crutches and carry the bucket (at least I have not been able to). Highly recommend. One thing to consider is that it comes with a silver metal disc. It wasn’t clear that this part was to go inside the bucket to help keep the ice cold and unfortunately I threw it out because it just looked like part of the packaging. Other than that a great product.
