Fluker's Hermit Crab Growth Shells Large, 2 count (pack of 1)

I’m surprised these shells don’t have a higher rating! I ordered 2 of these $.99 3 packs of shells, as well as a couple other larger packs for more $. Overall I’m pleased with all the shells! I have 3 hermit crabs. 1 is molting/mia. But the other 2 crabs are small/medium sized crabs and happily switched to new shells pretty immediately. All my shells were in on piece when I received them, despite terrible packaging - which really is Amazon’s responsibility and not the fault of Flukers. Specifically the shells came in the plastic baggie - as pictured. And we’re shipped with 0 cushion, in a box with 20 lbs of coconut substrate and conditioning salt. I couldn’t believed the shells weren’t crushed! Anyways, the quality is great - same as all the other good shells I purchased. All my shells ranged to tiny to medium/large, which is exactly what I needed! Plenty of nice, Hermie approved shells! If I were to do it again, I’d just order 5 of these $.99 cent bags. Best bang for the buck.

I ordered these for my crabs to grow into. They say large and they are smaller than what my crabs are in now. Dissatisfied.

Purchased the large size. The shells were perfect. At first I thought they would be to small. The shell he came with was painted and I was worried the new ones would not fit him or he would not like it. He immediately climbed into it and has been hanging out in it all evening. He has not tried the other shell in the set. So happy with my order.

There were a lot of mixed reviews for these shells, but with the shelter in place I was willing to give these a try, instead of going to the store. When they arrived one shell was much smaller than the other and had a weird indent that I was worried might hurt them. So I almost tossed the small shell, but threw it in the tank anyway, assuming purely for decoration. I was about to write a negative review, but last night one of my crabs switched to the small shell, which is smaller than the shell he was in before. So I'm a bit confused, but I'm glad he likes it. Either way, there is NO way that small shell should be in a bag labeled large. Even the other shell is medium, at best. I may still order another package anyway, because apparently my crabs like them and I need more shells, these are cheap, and I don't want to go to the store.

The media could not be loaded.  Well I ordered these shells which were listed as medium. What came were definately what I call small! The bag said medium but they we small. About the size of a quarter maybe? That said my newest crab who I would consider tiny couldn't wait to jump inside one. Within a few hours he already dropped the ugly painted shell from the store from when I bought him (painted shells are not good for hermies!) So while I had hoped to buy some shells for my bigger crab to have something to molt into, they turned out perfect for a different crab. The shells included were just as pictured very good quality! The green style is a hermit crab dream home as every time I have had these my crabs fight over it. So if you see them pick them up. The crabbies will always change into them. I'm disappointed by the size but it ended up being just the right size. Only quality issue I see is that the green one had a chip missing on top of the hole. You can see that chip in the video of Cheddar wearing the shell. It doesn't seem to bother him so I guess it's all good!

I like the shells and the colors. I was just very disappointed that they actually arrived chipped and broken. One shell was different from the description given. They also wasn’t the size as its describe as you can tell compared to my other shells. I have 2 hermit crabs female(Shelly jelly) and male(Roc-million) My boy hermit is big and already have plenty of shells. I mainly got them for my female crab cause she in molting at this time and have already change shells 3times. Her previous shell is the blue with the pink. She had tried on the light round green and brown conch which didn’t fit at all smiler to the one in the picture just bigger. I had bought another set of shells which is a 20pc variety pack of all sizes. Those are the 2 big brown spots shells but didn’t come enough in her size. Came more in my bigger hermit and for a “baby” hermit. Right now she switch to a brown spot shell for now. I needed medium size but the 3 top ones are way to small. I was just better off getting another variety pack at least so I she can have more as well like my big hermit.

I purchased this 3 pack of hermit crab shells for 2 pet hermit crabs my daughter has as options for them to swap shells if needed. Overall I am satisfied with the purchase but had hoped for 3 different shells. Not a huge deal. 2 shells are the same just different sizes and third is different color & type. Out 3 I think probably just 2 are actually ok size wise to switch into. Not sure honestly on that though, I could be wrong. Look to be good quality, no sharp or jagged edges, nice coloring and overall great price. Would definitely buy again.

The pictures show that these shells 🐚 are bigger than what they appear to be. They are the smallest of all shells 🐚 I’ve ever seen. It was a waste of time and not to mention a waste of money. It takes to much and it’s since less to return it. There is no way whatsoever that a hermit crab could grow in these small, I mean, extra, extra extra small shells. There more for a decoration in a project for show than they are for a hermit crab. If I had of known they were this small and a waste of my money I WOULD HAVE NEVER BOUGHT THEM.

Took a long time to arrive, and sadly our hermit crab died before they arrived... will use them in the play sand box now!

No use as same size as my "medium" crabs already.

Arrived in excellent condition! Beautiful and my little guys already switched shell, no more murder mysteries to solve (hermit crab or snail murder mysteries).
