Great quality practice balls for youth training
I bought this bucket of Rawlings OLB3 baseballs for my 7 year old son’s batting practice and they have been excellent. The quality is consistent and feels much better than cheaper recreational balls. They hold up well after repeated hitting sessions and the seams stay tight. Having 24 balls in the bucket makes practice smoother since we can go through many reps without stopping. The included bucket is sturdy and convenient for storage and transport. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality and these are perfect for youth baseball training.

Great value
Balls work well for under 8 team. For practice. The size and weight is correct. Durability is fine. They won’t last that long, because of synthetic cover. Perfect for hitting and all things baseball. The bucket is small I’d say it’s a 3-4 gallon bucket. Much cheaper than real leather balls, I would buy again.

Great practice balls
These are practice balls and not gameday balls. The quality is good for what they are and they hold up for back yard needs but they are not leather and the core is not as solid. The writing rubs off when hitting them and the laces are not raised much if interested in feeling the threads for pitching. They can become bumpy with continued hits. Excellent value for the amount of balls especially for young players.

Great for practice
These are great for young boys practice, but not much else. For teaching young kids the game of baseball reps are king. Doing the same task over and over as a drill will exponentially grow their skill. Use these for that. Get a bucket and start throwing the whole bucket to a kid or have them throw the bucket to you. Hit them off a tee. Even batting is okay with these balls. Know these are not built to last. I think the price reflects this. They wear much less like a baseball made of leather and more like a knock off version of a game ball. They have a lot more give to them than game ready 8U balls. The “leather” feels faux. The stitching is a lower quality and it all shows. The leather Is easily damaged or marked. Even the printing on the ball smudges a lot. For practices these are great balls. Kids will lose balls or balls will just get damaged. Until kids are a certain skill level I think a softer 8U ball with less pronounced stitching is fine. Just know it is a far cry from a game ball you would want your team to compete with. It’s a 5 star product if you are looking for just a ball to practice with.
