Easy process
Filed a claim and it was a very easy process. Provided the required information and received an email shortly after with label to ship my item for repairs. Asurion sent emails with updates. They are very easy to work with.

Insurance paid off
Bought a home security system. The DVR recorder failed! Contacted Asurion and they emailed a prepaid return label to send my recorder to them for evaluation. Within a week they notified me the unit was unrepairable and refunded the purchase price of the system. I used the refund to purchase a new system and this time bought the three year insurance package since it’s obvious the security system itself has longevity issues.

A$600 item that ends up uninsured.
I would give this no stars if I could. After much back and forth, Asurian has told me that they do not cover the product I ordered-ChargePoint EV charger. If I had known this, I would not have purchased the charger-an expensive charger at more than$600.00. Whose mistake was this:Amazon or Asurian? Either way, I have an expensive product with no insurance coverage. Not a good experience, Amazon.

peace of mind that iof the unit breaks, someone will fix it.
My last sterro, NRD, lasted over 30 years. The volume pot had issues sometimes not making contact, and the power supply was not filtering the voltage giving me a loud 60 cycle hum. Thought it was time to invest in a new one. Even though I worked in electronics for over 35 years, I do not have the eyes of test equiment for fix it, that's why I excepted this contract here.

Friendly and quick resolution
It was easy to get my device sent for repair/refund. Was kept up to date on status. Issue was resolved with refund the next day after they received the device. Well done!

Great Customer Service
The Customer Service was great but I wish they didn't want to try and upgrade me to fix my phone back glass

Not what it seems.
They tell you that you are covered, You buy their insurance and it will be like it used to be, you break it you get a new one. From my experience, they are not the company they used to be. They ask for pictures, I send them pictures, this is repeated at least 3 times, I sent all information as requested...two weeks later they send me a message to go to a repair shop in a neighboring town, AND they want me to pay them more money before I can even go there. They want almost as much as I paid for the insurance to begin with and call it a "service fee" I WILL NEVER PURCHASE THEIR PRODUCT AGAIN. They are like a "bait and switch", just another scam,!

Streamlined and easy process
Sent my defective product(malfuctioning security camera) via online, was updated throughout the process, received replacement product. Highly recommended for peace of mind and knowing if anything arises, claim will be a simple process.
