Breastfeeding win.
The container is a lifesaver for those that use the Willow pump and cannot afford the bags. I am a nurse and I use the containers throughout my 12 hour shift. I place in the fridge between uses. Though this is no longer recommended by the CDC due to potential for bacterial growth, I have had not problems and this works best for me. The brushes that come with the pump work well to clean the valve in the container, but not really the rest of the container. I use a different brush I purchased separately for that. There are a lot of awkward places to clean. The pumps will stop pumping when the containers reach about 4.3 ounces, but the containers themselves hold about 6.5 when completely full. If you leave the pump latched to your breast (even if pump is off) it is possible to overflow the container (picture included. I've done this several times). Be mindful that there is an airhole in the top of the pump and if you bend completely at the waist, your milk will spill. Milk does not spill if you squat instead of bend.

Left pump quit suctioning after not even 30 days of use
Been using this pump for under one month as I just had my son on Valentine’s Day went to use it to stimulate production and the left pump isn’t suctioning anymore 😞 I’ve cleaned repositioned it everything and nothing worked even purchased the containers so I didn’t have to use bags and still nada battery life is okay sucks you have to charge them one at a time it should have a charging dock for both at the same time for the price of these I am highly disappointed containers with bags still leaked and it should auto suction milk during the pumping process to avoid filling being the flange should be at the bottom so those that produce less milk don’t have to deal with spillage in the beginning because it is liquid gold for our babies

More trouble than they’re worth
Update: I ended up calling Willow customer service. They told me to do a vinegar soak for the valve and readings error. 1 part white distilled vinegar to 3 parts hot water. This did alleviate the all full and the clear valve issue. However it consistently gave me incorrect readings and was rarely right on the output. I ended up selling the pump and switching to an Elvie Stride which worked so much better for me. _________________ I bought these reusable containers because the bags are so expensive, and I go through them so fast which seems wasteful. They were fairly easy to put together and figure out how to use, but one of them quit working after about 5 days. How does a plastic container quit working? 1- it started giving crazy wrong readings saying I was pumping 30+oz from one breast when I was getting 1-1.5 oz. I could live with that because there are other ways to measure, but it was constantly (every 2-3 minutes) giving the “all full” notification meaning I’d have to take the pump off and reset it to continue pumping. 2- I continued to use it even after the previous issue until it started giving the “clear valve” error and wouldn’t even start. Sometimes I’d be able to reset it and get it to work, but it eventually quit working with the reset. 3- After troubleshooting and moving parts around to figure out what was going on, I was able to figure out that it’s the container itself and not any of the other pieces though I still don’t know why it does that. The pumps work fine with the bags by the way, so it’s 100% the container. While this isn’t a review about the pump itself, I’ll still add this to warn others: These pumps are WAY to expensive to be such a hassle, and I honestly wish I’d never bought this brand at all. It seems like they try to nickel and dime you to death (constantly buying new bags or purchasing containers separately from the pump that don’t even work). So buyer beware!!

Best invention ever!
My Willow came with the bags, which were a pain to load properly and I was only getting ~1 oz. each session per side. The bags ran out and I opted to switch to the container and I’m so glad I did. My first session with this container I got 4.2 oz on one side! Zero issues aligning to begin pumping and was overall much easier to use from start to finish. UPDATE: I’ve been using the Willow with the container for almost 5 months now and still love it. It took some time to get used to (like any pump, really) it works wonderfully. The only annoying aspect is all the tiny parts to clean each time.. and if you lose one piece, you’re SOL to pump with that side. Overall, I’m so glad I got this since it’s such a time saver and not stressful to pump anymore.

Reusable but broke
Ok so I’ve had these a couple months now. Pros: They are reusable. They are easy to assemble. They are lightweight. They don’t always fill up with air like the bags. Cons: They are so hard to clean well. They take forever to dry bc of design. Sometimes they don’t work properly with my app. I will have more than the 0.4 ounces needed to increase suction in expression mode but it’s doesn’t read that I do. I’ll go a whole pumping session thinking I had only pumped 0.2 ounces and take it off to find it to be full. Lastly I just went to pump and found one of my flanges broke where you connect the suction thingy. I am not rough with my pump parts nor do I have any idea when or how this happened. And of course they don’t sell them as a single so to pump both breast together I’d have to purchase again for 50 bucks. So they lasted me 2 months. Hopes this helps other! Over all they have saved me a lot on buying and wasting bags but they are a pain at times.

Not reliable for me
I purchased this with hopes I could reuse it and keep up with my nursing needs for my twins. I liked how it was a greener choice. It is easy enough to set up and use but it leaks while I'm wearing it. Also, when I am ready to get my milk out, it leaks all over the place. I can't afford to lose milk so I'm going to have to buy the bags instead and treat method. If you are over- producing and can risk some spillage, this can work for you.
