First off, let’s be clear... this is a “collapsing” water bottle. If you think you can not have the lid on and secure, it WILL topple over and spill everywhere. It doesn’t stand in it’s own, it’s not designed to.I bought these to go to Cancun as we were primarily going to be going to ruins and doing a lot of hiking, not beach going. These were perfect.They arrived the day before we left, and there was no plastic/toxic smell to get rid of either (super easy to remedy even if there was!). The water didn’t taste funky (unless you count the flavor that comes from the water out of the drinking fountain itself).It has a hard collar at the top to be able to hold it while you fill it, and then to screw the lid on. Even my 12 year old can do it.They collapse down to be about three inches wide and about an inch thick. They’re great to throw in your backpack when they’re empty.

•It was a lot smaller than I was anticipating (even knowing how much liquid it holds)•The lid is extremely difficult to put on; it goes on at a slant and I have to put it in place 6-7 times before it clicks in correctly.•You definitely cannot hold it one handed. You have to balance the mouth piece and hold the bottom section as you’re drinking or it’ll go everywhere. I wasn’t expecting super easy with thin rubber but I also wasn’t expecting to have to prepare every time I went to take a drink 😂•Cleaning is nearly impossible. I don’t use it for anything but water anymore because it constantly falls in on itself or stretches out as you’re trying to clean it.•Ice will only last for about twenty minutes before it is room temperature again.•Positive: it folds up very nicely when you’re ready to toss it in a drawer to never use again

How can I get rid of the smell? I've washed, soaked and put in the sun to get rid of the weird smell. Otherwise, I love this water bottle for travel. I travel every three months from Hawaii to Ohio for medical care. This clips right on my bag. Takes up barely any space. Doesn't add as much extra weight as my other favorite daily water bottles can. Winner for travel! Just the smell....

Great I use this for when me or my man don’t finish our drinks when we go out to eat because we all know how expensive that can get. And it folds up very nicely and fits right back into my purse. It’s easy to clean but takes awhile to dry since it crinkles and water gets trapped

Yes it’s easy to store. I was looking forward to having a compact water bottle. And yes it stays standing upright when holding water. The major turn off is that if you don’t drink your water right away, it takes on a strong liquid plastic flavor. DO NOT BUY! Look elsewhere

Used in desert, too flimsy, leaks if you pick it up wrong.
