I have used a similar product sold in local markets. Savory is like thyme, but with a little more earthy flavor. It goes well with vegetables, soups, sauces, and most meats. Adds a very good flavor. The product that is in local shops is sold by one of the well known brands, it is 0.07 ounces for $6.00. I got 2 #32 bottles 6.0 ounces ea. I can't tell the difference in taste, and after giving 1 bottle to a grandson who likes to cook with it, I have at least a years supply of it.

I needed this for a recipe and my local grocery didn't have it. Great price and tastes great also! I'm very pleased with the price and quality.

I use it in bean soup and chili and almost any dish that it can soak in. It is kind of dry to just sprinkle on top of a dry item of food. The flavor is great.

I really like the product and value. It has recently been impossible to find in local grocery stores.

I have already used this product, even though I received it just a few days ago. Added some to a pot of black beans yesterday with delicious results.

I use Savory/Summer Savory as a part of my seasoning mix for chicken and pork roasts. I use it enough to justify a larger container especially when comparing the price in grocery stores... if you can even find it.I assumed that the description of "cut and sorted" meant the savory was not "ground" and I was okay with that, but the sorted part wasn't evident at all.I didn't closely inspect the container to look at the contents when it arrived, had I done so I would have returned the product as (IMHO) there are way too many stems in the mixture and the overall cut was quite coarse, i.e. large pieces. I was in a bind and so I pulled out my mortar and pestle and went to work before adding the other herbs and seasonings for my rub. The stems were fairly thick and quite tough so I ended up picking them out as best as I could but a few made it through and they did NOT soften up after the pressure steaming or while my chicken was roasting. It was like tiny twigs in our mouths.The flavor was there, but not quite what the brand I purchased in the past was so I will have to look back at past orders and find out which one that was.I'm sorry to say I cannot recommend this product as I would not buy it again, but for some, it might work out well especially considering the cost vs. grocery store prices.

Great quality!! I use Savory spice in a lot of my cooking, it's had to find locally and is very costly when I can find it. Herbs smell so good when I opened the container. Container closes tightly to preserve freshness. Fast delivery, well packaged. Follow up e-mail from seller to be sure I was pleased with my purchase. Highly recommend this seller. I have had to substitute for savory over the years but not anymore. Great flavor and value, and in the end there is no real substitute for real savory
