Pretty nice little magmount, holds a tornado springer up at motorway speeds with no problems at all, the only issue l had was with the coax length, if you have a large vehicle and wish to route the cable around the interior tidily and safely to facilitate long-term use you're going to need to extend the coax like l did. Unlike the sirio magmounts this one is all bonded construction so you don't have the option of disassembling it and upgrading coax in one continuous run. I used an extension and have had no problem at all. Great little mount for the price, nicely presented and well made but just know that larger vehicles will need to extend the coax.

I bought this with the PNI ML145 antenna, which is 1.45m long. The magnet has stayed on the car roof at up to 60mph - I haven't tried it at more than that but it's fine for my needs. It seems well-constructed with a lead comfortably long enough. The antenna SWR'd to 1.4:1 maximum on the band edges so the ground given by the amount appears to be plenty enough, though the SWR was improved to 1.1:1 by grounding it to the bare metal of the door hinge arm.

Great quality and very powerful magnetic base will hold the mill 170 for CB and swap out for 2mtr 70cm no problem

It appears to be better made than the one I purchased for a car accessories store costing more.my antenna fits perfectly and is working as it should. Only time will tell how long it will last. My antenna is usually on the car 24/7.

Good strong mag mount

Sottile al punto da fare una resistenza insignificante all'aria. Provata fino a 210 Km/h (breve accellerata) in autostrada e non si è minimamente spostata. Anche per toglierla si fa fatica, il magnete tiene molto bene! Cavo buono, non particolarmente pregiato, ma fa il suo lavoro. Consigliata, vediamo poi nel tempo.

Nachdem ich vor einigen Wochen beim Ausräumen meines alten Opel Meriva eine (mittlerweile vergessene) und lediglich 62cm lange Sirio T3-27 (Wendel-Antenne) gefunden hatte habe ich mir nun auch für meinen neuen Kia Stonic einen passenden Magnetfuß bestellt. Der PNI 145 Magnetfuß macht für mich einen hochwertigen Eindruck, zumindest um diesen Preis, sprich gute Haltekraft am Blech, weiches flexibles Kabel (trotz Kälte) aber vor allem das Wichtigste: Über die komplette Unterseite erstreckt sich eine elektrisch leitende Alu-Folie, siehe Fotos: Diese Alu-Folie ermöglicht eine gute kapazitive Kopplung an das Blech der Fahrzeugkarosserie (die mit der Kabelabschirmung elektrisch verbundene Alu-Folie stellt dabei quasi eine der beiden Platten eines Kondensators dar, als zweite Kondensatorplatte dient hierbei dann das KFZ-Blechdach). Die kapazitive Kopplung ist dabei umso besser 1. je größer die Fläche ist und 2. je enger die beiden Kondensatorplatten aneinander liegen (deshalb lasse ich auch immer den runden Gummischutz beiseite und klebe stattdessen eine hauchdünne transparente Schutzfolie auf das Autodach um Kratzer im Lack zu vermeiden). Ohne Gummischutz liegt der Magnetfuß dann möglichst eng mit der Alu-Folie quasi direkt am Blech auf (und gewährleistet somit eine gute Kopplung zur Karosserie welche wie bei allen KFZ-Mobil-Antennen als notwendige HF-Masse bzw. notwendiges Gegengewicht dient). Empfehlenswert

Mu buena base magnética, hace un excelente plano a tierra incluso con la base de goma. En mi caso, le instale una antena 5/8 de 11 metros y anda perfecto.
