Gets the Job Done
I currently own a Gold's Home Gym System and decided to take a chance on this and mcgyver it onto the unit as I hate doing squats on my home gym. To my surprise, the base tubing slide perfectly into the bottom base tubing of the Gold's Gym and I was able to secure it into place with some chain linked to the bottom of the stopper on the leg press attachment and a nut on one of the screws at the base of the Gold's Gym. I have been using this setup now for almost a year without any problems. This attachment is pretty sturdy and works fantastic for both leg presses and calf extensions. It can be a bit wobbly but once you get the weight on it holds in place very well. I have maxed out the 125 lbs of racks + resistance on my home gym without any sort of issue. Overall, a good purchase that does exactly what I wanted it to do.

Great Home Gym Addition
We recently purchased this with the home gym, based on using one in a motel workout room. It was easy to assemble. The one problem we had in initial assembly was a slightly bent pulley mount and the entire attachment slighly misaligned with the gym (shipping damage?). Some adjustment with a hammer (not recommended) of the mount, and some pushing of the entire assembly in relation to the gym worked for us and resulted in the pully being properly aligned with the tension wire. Once adjusted it has worked great, and is giving my family and myself a great leg workout. It does eliminate the leg curl/extension feature of the gym ' tho', but can be removed (approximately 20 mins to remove or reattach) if one wants to go back to using those features. Since this press is easier on my old knee joints than the gym's curl/ext. features, I stick with this press.

Good as a lower model add on.
Every time I get this brand there are missing or broken parts. They replace them but it is a hassle. This time the welds did not hold on one piece. The plastic pullys and plastic washers on the weight machine this is attached to have chipped and broken. (Not all washers are plastic.) My machine model was not designed for this attachment. But with a few properly placed drill holes it works well for me. I definitely had to purchase a lot more 5 pound weights to make it heavy enough. It is not up to a separate leg press standard but good for the price until I get one.

Very sturdy
I worried about the slight wobble when I first installed it, but once you place your feet on them they are very stable. I like the curved plates. I have damaged feet and can't take pressure on my toes....so the curves help me avoid direct contact with the foot plates. It's made well and is incredibly sturdy. It was also easy to install.

Very disappointed
I was looking for an all-in-one workout machine I thought that's what I was getting the video showed a man and women working out doing upper lower body workouts did not realize it was an attachment

The Good, The Bad and The Pretty
The Good; Does not significantly enlarge the footprint. Easy to assemble and attach. Looks good and matches cosmetically with the unit. Adds leg press exercise. The Pretty: Does not detract from the overall attractiveness of the entire unit. The Bad: WOBBLY as a one footed man on a tightrope. Side to side lateral motion of at least 1-2 inches. This is due to sloppy engineering of the articulation of the leg press assembly to the lower bracket with a crappy safety shaft pin (part #12) which is ineffective. The engineers and developers should design a shaft pin with rotating washers and a more secure attachment to the articulation. I cannot believe that one of the designers cannot come up with a stability solution for this useful addition to the home gym. Design it. Charge extra for it and then it would be a 5 not a 3. Do not buy it until the engineers fix this flaw.

It works, but...
First, let me say that I love my BSG10X home gym. I hoped that I would love it even more with the BSGLPX leg press attachment. That is not the case, however. My leg press attachment arrived two days after I ordered it and in perfect condition. I have no complaints about Fitness Factory. Here are my observations:The good: Yes, you can perform a leg press with it and It is very compact. It also was well-packaged.The bad:1.The accuracy of the manufacturing leaves a lot to be desired. My leg press attachment is offset to the left(from the vantage point of the seat of the BSG10X) so that the pulleys do not align (another commenter had the same issue). The right foot plate is also closer to the seat than is the left, although neither of these manufacturing defects renders the unit unusable. Body Solid, it's time to pay a visit to the manufacturer and check the alignment of the welding jigs.2. The leg press attachment is uncomfortable to use with soft-soled shoes, such as sneakers. The single-arm design uses curved foot plates with a tight radius. The curved foot plate presses on the arch of your foot rather than distributing the load across the heel and ball of your foot. Higher end gyms avoid this effect by using parallelogram arrangements and a flat foot plate. I compensate by wearing bicycling shoes (without cleats) that have a rigid sole. The rigid sole spreads the load and prevents the discomfort. If you are considering buying a combination of the BSG10X plus the leg press attachment, I recommend opting for a different gym that has a parallelogram leg press.3.There are no instructions on how to use the leg extension station or the low pulley when the leg press attachment is installed. Taking the leg press unit on and off during an exercise program is not really an option because the removable part of the leg press attachment is pretty heavy (I'd estimate 20 lbs.), and not easy to keep in position with one hand while you try to insert the clevis pin to hold it in place.4. It is possible to access the leg extension station and the low pulley by detaching only the bottom end of the leg press cable and rotating the leg press attachment away from the BSG10X. The leg press attachment will rotate about 30 degrees until the end of the cable fouls the pulley on the leg press attachment, stopping its movement. This is fine for access to the leg extension station. It also gives pretty good access to the low pulley for biceps curls. I am concerned that fouling the pulley will cause failure of the pulley over time.5. The leg press attachment blocks direct access to the low pulley for other low pulley exercises (glute kickback, abductor and adductor exercises). Moving to the side makes those exercises possible, but means that the pulley is not aligned and the chain rubs against the leg press attachment. This would have been an easy design fix.6. I expected the leg press attachment to fold flat to the floor when both cables are released. It does not, due to interference at the hinge. The stress on the area around the hinge is very great when both cables are released and the leg press attachment moved as close to the floor as it will go. It also presents a tripping hazard. I don't place the attachment in that position. I intend to post photographs of these issues.
