It comes packaged in bubble wrap and a satin-lined box. There were no cracks or blemishes upon arrival. A couple of additional notes for the best clarity of the item; I used Zep Foaming Glass Cleaner and a lint-free polishing cloth before displaying it. I wanted you to see the reflective abilities with the salt lamp in the background, the clarity with no reflection, and what the item looks like with no light in the base. Regardless of how you choose to display this item, I think you will love it - I know I do!

To be honest I was not expecting it to be so big and was pleasantly surprised when I opened it. Very sturdy and beautiful. The way they have it boxed up is also beautiful so that you can store in the box or put out for everyone to see.

High quality and very heavy. I don’t know a practical reason for owning it other than it is a piece of art. I actually purchased the 4 inch version to see if it was worth buying the larger version. Before I spent over $100 I wanted to see if the quality of the quartz was any good.. I will order the larger version right now.As far as value for the money? I guess that is up to every individual. For me it was a good choice

I purchased this for a Knick knack for a shelf. Its has some weight to it. Its really nice. But it is not the color that it shows in the advertisement. It is much darker blue. Depending on light, it could even appear to be black. But Im still happy with it and wont be returning it. Just wanted to put it out there that the one I received is a very dark blue.

I had a very hard time gauging how big this would be because I'm usually a few beers deep when I'm buying wizardly video props. 100mm is a bit bigger than a softball with quite a bit more heft. Not quite palantir sized, but big enough for the camera. It came as advertised but in an above average packaging (gift box lined with faux silk). Note that these are glass, not crystal, and the "obsidian" one refers to the black color and not the actual material. Either way, it held up to the small fire which I tossed it into because reasons.
