Just What I Wanted.
This little inexpensive manger with baby Jesus is just precious. It compliments my very old nativity. It was not expensive but couldn’t be any better. If s just perfect.

This manger is very small and very cheap. It's made with scraps of flimsy 'wood'. Mine arrived broken and I had to glue it back together before we could even do anything with it. Don't bother with it.

Beautiful Ceramic Jesus
Per Kendra Tierney's brilliance, I wanted the children to have a devotional during Advent similar to our Lenten observances. I used a small box, placed a jar of craft wood shavings in a jar, and they "filled" the manger with "hay" for Jesus to make him more comfortable. They did each others' chores for straw with smiles on their faces, made beds, and practiced other random kindnesses that enlivened our Advent season. Reasonably priced and well made.
