Leupold Ringmounts - 1" High with a Gloss finish Compatible with Sako

Worked fine with heavy barrel 6mm PPC SAKO rifle and 50mm lens 30mm tube scope. Could not go to a lower ring and still clear the barrel, its close which is a good thing. Strongly recommend lapping rings though for proper alignment of tapered dovetail. Heavy recoiling rifles might have an issue as there is no positive recoil stop, only friction grip of the rail.

Leupold makes a great product. These rings fit perfectly on my Sako 7mm Remington Magnum and give enough clearance for my Nikon 3.5 x 14 Prostaff 5 scope, all at half the price of the Sako rings. Holds up to recoil without loosening. really does the job.

The Leupy rings are very usable and worth the money. In a way they are kind of clunky, just whittled out of a chunk of steel. I also feel that a two screw clamp would be far superior to the one screw / nut arrangement they use. Bottom line these are for a sporting varminter not a tactical rifle, so they work.

My gun dealer couldnt locate these rings anywhere so he told me to purchase them here. Was so excited to mount the scope on my 338 win mag I didnt notice anything at first. Did my best to bore sight by eyeball. When I shot I was still way low. When I cranked the reticle up I was half way to where I needed to be but ran out of adjustment. Upon inspection I found out they sent 1 high rise scope ring and one super high rise ring. The super high was in the back.. 5mm higher than the front. Talk about let down. I was in a hurry so I was forced to purchase another set right then and to return this one later. My new set is in and is correct, Luepold just packaged the first one wrong. Unfortunately this forced me to drop out of long range rifle shooting class I had been signed up for losing my deposit due to quality control.

Loved these rings. The were perfect for my Sako, as the standard rings I had didn't fit properly.

These are for my Leupold 3x9-50 scope, and are really strong, fit perfectly. Seem strong enough that the 30-06 isn't likely to shake the scope loose, no matter what load I shoot. Wish the store locally had carried them, but got a better price on Amazon anyway!

I bought these to mount a Smith scope on my 30-06 and they worked as they were designed to. They held the scope and gave me the clearance I need to have for the large optical view of the scope. Well made and should last a lifetime.

they were of best quality but not tall enough
