The Khulasa: The Cream of Remembrance

This book has everything a Muslim needs to keep us occupied positively. The supplications collected here provide a sense of heightened wellbeing.

It is beautiful to have this book translated and easily accessible at an affordable price, however, there are a few aspects of this publication that make me wish the green hardback was still in print.1) The Arabic and translation are not facing each other. For English speakers, this means that if you want to check the translation, you have to look on the back of the Arabic. Most translations have facing Arabic and English so both are open at the same time.2) The grey chosen is too light and hard to read. I believe it was a different color in the original hardcover, which used a high-quality paper. On this paper and printed in grey, those sections can be difficult to read if you have poor eyesight as I.May Allah bless the translator and publisher.

Asalamualaykum,Brothers and Sisters.This copy will suffice for those who are trying to get hold of the book in the UK and just prefer to read on paper rather than phone. Its cover is thin, so what I did was cover it with clear sticky plastic to give the cover strength. The inside is black and white no green markings. Th paper is good quality but not the same as the hardback green khulasa which is becoming difficult to find/expensive. At the begining it feels bulky but you just get used to it as I used to switch between phone pdf and the original small khulasa, it was quite a size up from what I was used to.Some key pages to mark in which should be read everyday are :The two wird latifs: mornings pg 151 and prior to start of maghrib pg 283To be read before the 2 sunnahs of fajr top of pg 111 and what to read after the 2 sunnahs pg 111.What to read after every prayer: pg 119If you want to read the given surahs at the designated times: Surah Yasin pg 175 ( and after the surah the dua is short so worth reading it after). I was very excited for my khulasa to come today.. but opened it and I wasn’t happy with the defects it had. As a perfectionist I am it annoys me that’s there’s defects with the book. Not closing properly as you can see in the pictures and scrunched defects in the bottom corner and top corner and the cover being scratched off a little. It is a book I wanted to put on my mantle piece at home but not looking like this.
