Having a little trouble using it because you do not use it the same way as other files.

Let me say this first, I thought this was a nail file and as I was trying to use it without reading the instructions...I was thinking to myself that I was going to have to send it back.. However after reading I discovered something that i didn't know anything about. I love the way it makes your nails shine. Not a cover girl but I like some of the simple things that add a look like you really care about yourself when your nails are well groomed.

This nail file is way better than my traditional one! It won't tear my nails up like my old one. It's pretty cute too! And won't break easily.

Okay, I ordered this as a non-disposable buffer to shine my nails but it's not great at that as my nails are not flat enough to shine without some flexibility in the buffer. So why am I giving this 5 stars? Why have I bought one for every family member in every color? Because this is the best non-disposable emery board for filing my nails! This gives me a perfect file every time. No more sharp edged nails, chips, or cracks in my nails - just a smooth and clean edge. I don't clip my nails, only file, and this thing does it quickly and makes my nails look great! I do polish a bit with it, but as I mentioned my nails don't have a flat bed to work with. The polished parts have the highest shine I've ever seen. Get it! Get two! I ordered an extra for my travel bag.

I love this nail file. It makes my nails so smooth that it looks like I have polish on them.

Love love love these so much I NOW HAVE 3! i got one as a gift and used it all the time but silly me kept misplacing it. I just got 2 more!! So now i have three lol i have one that lives in my purse, one in my bathroom and one in my car. I absolutely recommend these to you and your neighbor Or whoever. They do a great job filing those quick snaggs and shape the nail beautifully, they leave the filed egde soft and not rough. They do make they nail shiny too! I was skeptical at first But im a believer now and so should you!

After a few weeks it has yet to wear out. Not harsh like the files I used to use. It works great as a buffer/smoother while still being efficient in its intended purpose. Love it!
