OEM part works as it should.
This is an oem part and fits as it should. You will need an smog pump gasket plus a new oring for the oil cooler coolant line. Just be careful removing all the lines that go to the housing along with the electric connectors. I accidentally broke the feed pipe to the thermostat heating line. Simple fix but can be avoided easily. Also make sure to properly 'burp' the coolant system when re-filling because you will empty almost the whole system while removing the thermostat assembly.

Factory Part, Hopefully Longer Lasting.
Great replacement for original pump that the built in sensor failed. Not a great design, GM...but I prefer the factory part, if I can get it. I bypassed several less expensive Chinese versions of this part to get a Delco part.Installation was not terrible, and flow was as good as factory, with no overheating after purging the air in the system.

Expensive, But best choice
The product arrived quickly, included the gasket perfect quality, and is really the only option for the 1.8 ecotec. Most of the other less expensive aftermarket thermostats are junk and will only cause your car problems a few months down the line. Spend the money and get the GM part.

Great replacement
I bought this for my 2013 chevy sonic 1.8L.Great replacement, fits perfect and it's a great value. At retail places you'll pay more for less. This is great for that car since it's AC delco, just make sure you also buy the other hose that goes on this part since that hose brakes 90% of the time when you remove it

Factory part = Factory fit...
Use one of the online GM parts supply websites to verify the part number you need based on your VIN. Check YouTube for videos on how to change the part and dive in. If you take your time and pay attention, you'll likely be fine. It saved me a boat-load of money. Also, make sure you order the coolant pipe that connects the thermostat to the throttle body. You will most likely break the old one as the plastic is very, very brittle due to the heat it's subjected to. Last thing you want is to be in the middle of the job and not be able to finish it. In my case it was AC Delco part number: 25192905 GM original Throttle body heater inlet pipe. Good luck!!
