Flash Furniture Mellie 27.5" Round Aluminum Indoor-Outdoor Table with Stainless Steel Table Top

This is a review of the 27.5" version. The table is rock solid. No wobble, no leveling issues, no problems at all. What's atrocious are the (non)-instructions that are included in the kit. The hardware you receive doesn't even line up with the instructions! Here's how to set it up with a stable build: 1) Start with the table top, still in the bubble wrap. Lay it on the ground with the top facing down. Rip off the bottom of the wrap to expose the threaded pilot hole. 2) Screw two (2) bolts (not one!!) onto the tension rod, then a locking washer, then a flat washer. Your kit comes with 4 bolts for a reason. 3) Screw the tension rod into the table top. Screw it in as far as it will go, hand-tight. 4) Use an adjustable wrench (the disposable wrench included is garbage) to screw down the bolt nearest to the table, tightly. 5) Once that's done, screw down the other bolt to lock in the first one. 6) Slide the column cowl onto the assembly. **IMPORTANT** there's a notch on the cowl! Make sure this lines up with the notch on the table top, or your table will NEVER be level and wobble like all hell. 7) Screw the plastic feet into the bottom assembly. 8) Take the bolt out of the bottom assembly. Toss it. 9) Set the bottom assembly onto the column cowl. **IMPORTANT** there's a notch on the bottom too! Line it up to defeat the wobble king. 10) Same deal: flat washer, locking washer, two bolts. Screw the first bolt down tight, then the second as a stopper. 11) Flip over the table, tear off the bubble wrap and protective film, and you're all set. Follow these instructions and you've got a great little patio table, rock solid. Levels easily by adjusting the feet only. DON'T TWIST THE TOP AROUND to adjust the table! If you're doing that, you've built it wrong.

Nice and neat looking table, if the platform have a stronger holding , it would be perfect. But for the money is good.

I bought this for place in my yard. I was skeptical to see some negative review, but I decided to give it a try anyway. Thanks for Amazon, the item arrived my home quickly. The package well protected the table with good layer of bubbles, there is a blue film to protect the table surface. The assembly is easy probably because I had some experience to install my speaker stand. This is actually is easier to install. The table is very sturdy and nice looking. I love it. Since this is the first day I own it so I don't know how long it will last. I will update the review if there is anything abnormal happens.

I bought this table several months ago but just put it out on our beachside balcony about a month and a half ago (after hurricane season passed here in South Florida). The top is "stainless" with an aluminum base but what they don't tell you is that screwed to the bottom of the table top and hidden in the four legs of the base are two huge pieces of cast iron (for weight?). Knowing that those would rust out in weeks with our salt air I coated all sides of those pieces with a spray on plastic coating before putting it all together - hoping that it would keep the rust off for at least a few months. I didn't have to worry about that. Take a look at the images attached. The "stainless" steel table top has started to rust. Yes, rust, that is because there is stainless steel and then there is CHEAP stainless steel and the cheap kind will rust. Look at the other image and you will see that the aluminum base has significant corrosion on it. This after less than two months sitting on our covered beach front balcony. I give it about two more months before the cast iron pieces rust through and start dripping rust on my balcony and then I will throw the whole thing away since I don't want rust stains on my deck. I just wish I could send this POS back or get a refund - oh well. It's now a few months after I posted the review above and things have gotten ever worse (if that is possible). Take a look at the third image below taken this morning (5/29/18) and after about three whole weeks with rain and tropical storm Alberto there is massive rust on the top of the table. So I stand by my statement that this table is junk, don't buy it.

This is a sturdy and quite weighty table. It's very windy today, so I'm seeing if it stands up to it! Highly recommended is you want a small table for coffee, donuts, or other small meals. Very easy to assemble too - it took minutes.

Great table for the price- mine came with a decent dent in the column and in the table edge but it was a pretty good deal. The shipping box was in good shape so the dents had to have happen from pieces moving around in the box. Easy to assemble and will be easy to Take apart and put away for the winter.

I really did not expect this table to be of such a good quality for the low price it was, but it was very nice. I was going to paint it to match all my other patio furniture, but it is too nice to paint. It looks good as it is. It was easy to put together and it balanced perfectly. No wobble at all. It turned out to be a product much better than expected.

I was looking for a durable black table top for my vintage cast iron table base, I couldn’t find just the table top in this size and color, so I ordered this bistro table. Package arrived damaged and open. The table base it came with had scratches on it and was also missing a key item to assemble it. The table top came with 2 dents on the rim. Overall I am happy with this table top, I didn’t mind the dents, as I’ve been searching for this for a really long time, however I was dissapointed that my package arrived damaged.

I ordered two of these and one box had absolutely no hardware in it. Missing the feet and hardware.

Har väntat med att packa upp bordet. Kanten på bordsskivan har en liten skada (lite tilltryckt). Detta upptäcktes först efter att bordet monterats och eballaget slängts. Vet inte om man kan få en ny skiva.

Esta es la 2da. que compro. La primera, en 2021, y sigue en mi balcon, en perfectas condiciones. Es Fuerte y resistente. El viento no la mueve y ocupa muy poco espacio. Se arma facilmente ya que las instrucciones son muy claras.

Easy and fast to assemble. Done correctly it’s very sturdy. A good weight for a very windy hi-rise balcony, no worries it will blow away. It looks great!

Nice sturdy table , gave 4 stars because 2 dents on it , otherwise I would have it 5 stars ⭐️.
