Beautiful color. This is lightweight and should not be relied upon to hold something together. It doesn’t take much pull to break the strand. I will be using this to decorate the project I’m working on.

Just what I wanted

I love the quality of this ribbon/cord. Very soft and easy to work with. Drapes nicely.

I’ve used this product for years and love it, but this time I received a spool labeled 3/16” wide, but filled with 1/8” wide. Still great stuff, but obviously an issue when I have findings made for the wider version. And yes, when very soft leather is cut into very narrow strips, it is going to be more delicate- not sure how that would be a surprise to anyone.Since it’s still perfectly good leather I asked Amazon whether it would be possible to just get a refund for the price discrepancy between the size I paid for and the size I received; Amazon being amazon, they just gave me a full refund and told me to keep it. No arguments here, though I’m left wondering whether I’m going to risk ordering another spool of 3/16” from here and possibly ending up with another mislabeled one, or whether to spend the time looking elsewhere.

I wish this was even stronger as I have seen and used stronger. But make no mistake this is way stronger than the fake leathers I have used. This is medium to light strong in my opinion. It's good. Looks great easy to use as in not crazy stiff. Can be broken by hand with good effort like pulling super snug when wrapping, but really you never need to pull that hard for any application. Is most definitely best to cut with a good pair of scissors or sharp knife. There is some stretch to it when pulling hard, which is great, but again you shouldn't really ever need to pull that tight. I would purchase again if I have need.
