If it had a metal tightening mechanism it would be bullet proof!
Bought the Randy Mayer’s Stretching Pole approx 3 maybe 4 years ago. I keep it in my bag for a couple of years till I saw the sun was starting to affect the grip so I keep it in my garage and used it before ever round. I left it in one setting that I liked. One day I was moving it to another setting and I could not get it to tighten up and it pull apart. As you can see in the photo’s it’s just plastic in side the pole. I contracted the company and got a reply. I was told I had a older model with only a 2 year warranty and the new models have a 3 year warrant. I ask if they sold repair parts for mine and never got a reply. So I won’t recommend this product a lot of money for only 4 years use.

broke in 2 days
Saw this stretching pole being used by tour pros and decided I would get one to help me get ready before playing.POSITIVES:Arrived earlier than expected. Like the fact that some suggested exercises are printed along the handle of the pole. Worked well the first time I used it and felt the benefit on the first tee.NOT SO POSITIVES:Had the pole 2 days and it broke. 72 inch pole sticking out the top of my golf bag for a whole round.To add insult to injury I had to pay to have it returned and pay the cost of having a replacement one shipped out to me.Overall, Pole worked (when not broken), not impressed with extra expense incurred!!!

After receiving the item I had questions regarding the stretching pole, so I called the "Golf Stretching Pole" customer service phone number listed on the pole. My call was promptly returned by management, and the question was quickly resolved. Thanks for making a great product and excellent customer service! This product is a "must have" for all golfers!!!

I tend to be pretty stiff and have lost flexibility due to injury
I bought this a while ago. I always intended to review, just never got a round to it. I have two torn rotator cuffs, bulging discs in neck and lower back. I tend to be pretty stiff and have lost flexibility due to injury. The Golf Stretching Pole has helped regain some of the flexibility and mobility that I have lost. This is not just for golf. I bought one for my mom who does not play golf but broke her arm in three places and was in a cast for several months.
