3/8" 9mm Snack Stick Pepperoni Slim Jim Tube for LEM Model 1606 606 3 & 5 Qt Sausage Stuffer

Will fit the 5lb model just fine, and the 2.5 seems to use the same diameter stuffer. Will require quite a bit more torque to crank out, but oiling the moving parts and carefully adding torque to the crank an inch at a time will eventually push meat through the tube.

Does the trick for 21mm sheep casings !

I have a hand crank five pound stuffer that uses tubes with a 1.5 inch base, flange and this tube fits! The description is wrong - it is not 1 9/16".

Anyone who has used one of these, can skip my review knowing it is very well made and of decent quality and it fits my cabelas branded 5lb stuffer.For those of you new to snack stick stuffing with a 3/8 tube, read on.Beware. Using this tube in a large capacity stuffer, will probably damage your stuffer beyond repair.The reason for this is the physics of hydraulic pressure. The bigger the diameter of your sausage stuffer is in relation to this tube, the more pressure you will have to exert over the entire surface of the sausage to push it through this little bugger. LEM and other stuffer manufacturers actually reccomend their smaller models for snack sticks as they openly state snack stick tubes like this produce too much back pressure for the bigger stuffers to handle.Some things you can do to prevent this problem include: Making the mix more wet so that it is a easier to work with consistency, lubricate everything the sausage touches with cooking oil, using the smallest sausage stuffer hopper diameter available to you, leave that 25lb beast on the shelf and bust out your 5lber, dont let mixes with binders set up before stuffing, stuff RIGHT AWAY before the protein extraction gets out of hand.Nice long tube, make sure you have a little straw brush to clean the inside with.

I've been trying to find a snack stick tube that will fit my Meat 5lb stuffer. I took measurements of the hopper opening and the collar (diameter and opening), then spent too much time trying to find this one, digging through the descriptions of each product I selected. It fits and works perfectly. It will NOT fit the Meat 10lb stuffer.

Never had a tube break but this one completely fell about after 15 mins of use..

added to the inventory of meat processing equipment, my only complaint is with the original purchase of the lem stuffer, I purchased a 5 lb unit specifically for doing snack stick pepperoni and it comes with 3 tubes that are bigger than needed for that purpose, with the smaller stuffer it is obvious your not doing multiple 40 millimeter summer sausage and felt this tube should come with it, back to shipping was fast fit perfect and although I haven't used it yet im sure it will be just the ticket.
