Love the look
Just follow the directions and comes out great. Was easy to follow and easy to manage. I used on interior fireplace. I scrubbed it first. Then I mixed the lime wash in a red solo cup so I didn't need a whole bucket. Went on with a paint brush. Then I used a spray bottle to wet it and rag to wash off to give a worn effect. Thinking of using on exterior brick. The color was more ivory than I wanted but I'm ok with it.

Wear gloves!!!
This stuff is so easy to use but make sure you watch as many videos as you can before starting an exterior makeover. We painted our all brick two story ourselves. However, the first day using it, having my hands drenched in the stuff for hours, I noticed a stinging on the tips of my fingers. It had eaten literal holes in my skin. Even after washing my hands well, it continued to burn through the skin. Ended up with an infection and a trip to urgent care. So if you’re going to tackle a big job, protect your hands, and also wear safety glasses because it splatters. The other thing I’d say is to keep that hose handy because it dries quicker than you think. If you want the aged look and need to rinse it off, do it sooner than later. Even waiting 20 minutes is too long if a hot day.

Beautiful transformation and easy to use!
I love this! So easy to use. You can put it on as thick or thin as you like. I used a natural bristle brush, put it on fairly thick, but left little spots of natural brick peeking through. It has only a faint smell when wet . It is easy clean up and very forgiving. It took maybe 1/3 of the container to complete this fireplace. I plan to buy more and do the entire exterior of the home.

Easy to apply
This product is excellent. We mixed it about 60% lime with 40% water and used both chip brushes and masonry brushes. It does drip and make a mess, so cover the ground with good tarps. Avoid getting on windows or trim -- wash off promptly. It looks beautiful.

Love it!
Easy to Use, it brightened up my front porch, and it still looks new one year later! So glad I used this whitewash...

Loved the update to my brick
I have disliked my hideous mauve mortar for years. I tried staining it with multiple colors/brands, but it only accentuated the purple. As it dried, I didn’t realize how yellow my brick had been too. It covered all and I don’t think I need to go back and wash any off, because the texture and some color variation still show through. Drips and splatters cleaned up with a wet rag.....so much easier than paint. Before/during/after around my garage.

Not for brick that is sealed/finished/tile
I used this on the brick on my chimney. It absorbed and looked great. I also used it on the finished brick (hearth) of my fireplace and it scrapes right off so not recommended for use of this unless it is plain brick with no finish now I have to buy another paint to go over this area.
