Perfect Hose Pot or Large Planter
This replaced a copper hose pot that was beautiful, but rusted out after a couple of years. This one is dark, attractive resin. It doesn't look cheap at all and blends beautifully with dark plastic wicker-like outdoor furniture. I was pleased to know it is made in the USA. The pot works perfectly for a hose pot. Easily holds a fifty food hose and I would guess a 100 foot hose would also fit because it is sizable. It would also work beautifully as a large planter because the hole for the hose to enter the pot comes with a tight fitting, removable plug. There are designated places in the bottom of the pot where it is easy to use a regular household drill with a good sized drill bit to make four drainage holes. I added a layer of black river rock to the bottom of mine, which you can buy at any DIY store, and that adds stability to keep the pot from tipping when I am pulling out the hose from fifty feet away.

YES, YOU HAVE HOLES TO BE PUNCHED OUT AND SAUCER ALSO MAKES GREAT TABLE NEXT TO CHAIR ON PORCH!
This is a wonderful hose container. The room alone is perfect for my 100 foot hose. And, while the offeredsaucer is a great alternative for a lid, it also solved my problem of providing me a table next to my chairon the porch when hose is not in use. I did not attach the lid to the hose container itself, but just kept a pairof hand pruners on the saucer lid which provided enough weight to hold the lid down. And, lastly, the hosecontainer does contain 3 hole punch outs on its bottom the size of a large nickel. You use a screwdriverfrom the outside bottom with a hammer to the top of the screwdriver for needed strength to push all theway through and expose the holes. Every reviewer has said there are no holes, but there are and no drillis necessary. I had similar hole punch outs when I bought plant containers, and that's why I was familiarwith this setup. Great purchase for me!

Great hose pot.
Well made, this holds both our 50' vinyl garden hose curled up at the perimeter and then our pocket hose on the center. Blends right into our mulch and foundation plantings. When I first saw it, it seemed extremely large, but then you realize it needs to be so you don't have to curl a large garden hose too tightly. It is overpriced in my opinion. Should be more like $45 max, but the shipping cost is likely what pushed the price out of where it should be. Comes in a huge box. We did drill out the three drainage holes in the bottom, but they are not really in the correct place, and it does still retain a little water. We will drill more drainage holes. I will order another pot once they are back in stock in the fall.

Beautiful hide-a-hose pot
Where has this been all my life? For years I struggled with a self powered hose reel cart. It wouldn’t wind, right, or it would leak or it would get tangled. Well, no more. This beautiful, sturdy resin pot can more than handle my 100 foot lightweight hose and keep it neat and tidy without tangling. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to stow a hose and make it look good at the same time.

Holds 100 ft of expandable hose
Need to drill (not punch) out drain and hose openings. Make sure you drill hose opening large enough to thread connection for hose attachments Appears sturdy enough for at least several seasons. Holds 100 ft of expanding hose with room to spare. Looks nice on deck. Will purchase a second for lower deck hose. Was going to purchase a second, but price jumped $10.00 from last week. Need to reconsider

Nice size
I needed a pot that would hold 200 feet of hose for my backyard. This is perfect.

Not that good!
I didn't like this hose pot that much because the top is kind of sharp and my hose has now stains/scratches from this sharp part. I had a little scratch from it as well. We're trying to smooth it up with our tools. We had to make some holes as well. It does have a good size and it looks good, but I didn't like that we have to fix some things. This product needs to be improved.
