I’ve had these dishes for over a year. First time in my life that I’ve ever eaten off something fancier than a Walmart brand cheapo plate at home. These have a nice heft to them without being heavy. They FEEL fancy and expensive, if you know what I mean. And to be honest, they are fancy, but in a non-showy way. Whenever I’ve had guests over I am actually proud to serve food on these dishes. That’s probably dumb, but as a single dude living alone, I take pride in not slapping down some bachelor-chow style slop on a paper plate. I can make real meals and serve them on real dinnerware without breaking the bank too hard. These plates and bowls clean exceptionally well. The paint/color has not scratched or faded a single bit on a single plate. I use forks and knives and stab these things all the time. No scratches. They look new every time I take them out of the cupboard. The only bad thing that’s happened was I dropped (fool that I am) one of the cups about 5 feet onto my vinyl kitchen floor. It shattered. However, that wasn’t the first time. I’ve dropped the plates and other cups a few times and they didn’t break. They seem fairly resistant to breaking, but they are ceramic, so not impossible and some care has to be taken to not drop them… like I did Good plates, buy them if you’re tired of feeling like your dinnerware is cheap. Love this set! In the 1.5 years I’ve had these I’ve only managed to break one plate (and if you knew me, you’d be impressed). The clean very well and they don’t stain! I have the white color ones and they have stayed true to color this whole time. Only down side is they do scratch pretty easily. So using a knife to the plates becomes very noticeable pretty quickly. For me, they were only “need something right now that’s affordable & cute” purpose and they’ve served their purpose well thus far.

I like the look. I haven't used the set yet but it's a nice decor for my kitchen area. I did wash them first after arriving, but no complaints. If you order red just know that it is not a bright red...but more dark tone. FYI: if viewing my pictures it may seem the red is bright but the actual color is closer to the plates that has less lightening.

This is a 3-month in review. I bought the Stone Lain 16 Pieces Two-Tone Color Glaze without Rim Stoneware Round Dinnerware Set during the Black-Friday sales. Our family consist of 4 members and all of us use these plate-wares everyday extensively. Delivery Normally when I order stuff from Amazon it arrives within a day or two, some may take maximum about a week. This one though came after a month wait and although I was expecting broken pieces within the shipment, surprisingly every single of the 16pcs came intact and unspoiled. The delivery box had chinese letters on meaning it probably was shipped directly from China? Eitherways glad that the pieces were intact. Durability Honestly I was half expecting them to break after seeing so many negative reviews, even though stone-wares are supposed to be heavy and robust. Out of packet build quality seems to be top notch, however I remembered seeing so many reviews with broken pcs of ware after micro-waving. Naturally we started to use the pieces inside microwave for 20-30s and gradually started to increase at around 1 min mark. To my surprise, not only do these pieces stay relatively cool even after 1min microwaving but I have yet to have any crack inside the micro-wave. Food does get warmed decently well too although it would struggle if the food is just out of the refrigerator. Nowadays though we warm food items on these plate wares for more than 1min30s inside microwave without experiencing any problems. Sturdiness These plates are heavy, so when they do bump on things they give out a deeper sound compared to thinner porcelain wares. Also I fear they may break thinner wears after accidental bumps since they feel so robust. Till now though haven't experienced any chips on the corners after extreme use. Also knifewares havent scratched on the surface of any plates yet, atleast not visible to eye. Cleaning We dont use the dishwasher, only hand-cleaning. These are extremely easy to clean since left over food dont seem to stick on them at all. Overall, extremely satisfied with the purchase and would recommend, however I am still aware that Im lucky to have them shipped over without any broken pieces. So I cannot comment on the customer service aspect.

I have had these dishes for about a month. They are fantastic! They are heavy-weight, quality dishes. So far, mine have not scratched. They are easy to clean by hand but I also put them in the dishwasher. From the photo, I thought the red would be quite bright, but it is more like a matte burgundy. Quite nice, really. // I have a family member with dementia who struggles with using dinnerware, and this Stoneware Dinnerware has made all the difference. The dishes don't slide, the color makes them easier to see, and the curved edge helps keep the food on the plate. I only wish we had discovered them sooner.

Ich bin absolut begeistert von diesem roten Tafelservice! Die Farbe ist kräftig, elegant und bringt richtig Leben auf den Tisch – perfekt für besondere Anlässe, aber auch im Alltag ein echter Hingucker. Die Qualität ist top: Die Teller fühlen sich stabil an, sind gut verarbeitet und lassen sich problemlos in der Spülmaschine reinigen. Auch nach mehreren Waschgängen bleibt die Farbe genauso schön wie am ersten Tag. Ich habe viele Komplimente von Gästen bekommen – das Design fällt wirklich positiv auf. Compré la vajilla para uso diario, tiene bonito color, pero se raya muy fácilmente (con dos usos del plato ya tiene una marca), tiene algunos defectos de fabricación, la taza se rayó al primer uso y tiene unos detalles. El precio es muy elevado para lo que se obtiene, no recomiendo el producto

Not a bad set of dishes overall. Nice looking out of the box. The finish does seem to scratch quite easily, and they get quite hot in the microwave even when microwaving for minimal time.

I wasnt sure what to expect ordering a dinner set online without seeing it first but i was pleasantly suprised. The plates have a turned up edge to stop things spilling over the sides. The photos really dont do it justice its beautiful. They a quite heavy solid pieces of high quality. Would love another set in a different colour to mix and match as they are all so lovely. Arrived in perfect condition and was packaged well. I order this from the US and im in the UK so was worried about breakage but they arrived in perfect condition. Thank you
