Easy to put together a few bangs here and there with the palm of my hand was all it took to slot into position, clear and simple instructions and no defects at all. Came with a pair of gloves too which was nice for handling metal edges. I would suggest sealing the MDF boards if placing in a shed, garage, basement or conservatory just so they last longer against moisture. Very happy with my purchase.

Good sturdy shelves, need two people to assemble and a little fiddly at the beginning but once into it gets easier.

Once you work out how to assemble, it goes together quickly. Very wobbly when being assembled, but once all put together, it is solid and firm enough. There is a peculiar smell from the "wooden shelves" but it does fade slowly with time. Looks good. EDIT: I have had to throw the wood away as it keeps getting a very bad fungus growth. Do not use the wood supplied but rather buy some thin plywood and make your own shelves to fit.

I made a mistake in buying the cheapest metal clip together shelves. Previously I’d had no problems erecting similar shelves. I mean how different could they be - very. No instructions for start! And then not one of the clips fitted without me having to open them with pliers. In my opinion this particular product is cheap and not well made at all. The metal parts are quite flimsy and it’s not sturdy even when built. By time I’d realised I’d already unpacked and started adjust clips otherwise I’d have returned it Okay my fault for not buying something much more expensive but then if it’s advertised you might think it’s fit for purpose. On moving these shelves they collapsed!!! So reboxed & returning. Don’t buy these they are rubbish!!

An excellent set of shelves that are more stable when loaded! Do make sure you set them up close to the final home as they are difficult to move without falling apart but once up - for the price <£20.00 - excellent imo. No difference in build quality between these and 50.00 shelving in DIY shops. Brought another 2 similar! No issues with mouldy wood/damage or missing parts.

Despite no instructions ( and being completely new to Dexion ) this was easy to assemble and is all just push-fit ( with the help of a few gentle taps ) . The design gives complete flexibility ( re shelf heights ) and hardboard shelves are supplied . It is quite rigid. It is certainly exceptional value for money .
