The tool works as advertised and is a good cost point for needing just the 5/16" & 3/8" options.

STOP AND READ THIS FIRST
Both ends of this tool broke during an attempted fuel filter replacement on my 1995 F-250. Why three stars? It's not totally the tool's fault. It did get one end of the line off. The design of this fuel line attachment system is proof that some Ford engineers just want to watch the world burn. It's awful. The internet is full of Ford forum threads of frustrated owners spewing hate for this design, often resorting to cutting the fuel filter off in pieces after struggling for hours. If you have an older vehicle or if the filter hasn't been changed in ages, consider taking this fix to the dealership. There are tiny retainer clips in the fuel line connections that get corroded over time, and simply will not let go. You practically need three hands just to use the tool properly. To make matters worse, on some older Ford models (like mine) the filter is inexplicably wedged between the frame and the tank, meaning access is extremely difficult. I did a full tuneup on my truck, transmission oil change, plugs, cap, wires, all other filters... and do most work on all my vehicles, but the $30 in labor my Ford dealer charged (after I failed) to change this was well worth it. When the dealer called around midday to tell me it was done, I asked, "Was it hard to get off?" The technician responded with maniacal, PTSD-induced laughter , "hahaahhahahahhahahaha!!!... and just said to me, "I wish it were 5:30 PM already". So take it from a guy who loves to work his cars, do yourself a favor and skip this project, unless the filter has been recently changed. Ford deserves their own pain for dreaming up this stupid system--take it to them.

Worked Perfect
This tool removed a fuel line from 1996 Ford Explorer fuel pump assembly easily. I couldn't get the line off with the typical plastic removal tool.
