Aniseed Balls - 227g (half pound))

They taste like aniseed balls but they do not have the little black pip it in the centre.react side is like in Annecy ball for as and get inside it is not the same as the old ones disappointed

Lovely, though they no longer have the real or any kind of aniseed ball in the middle of the ball as they used to years ago, but a very tasty ball all the same and I would recommend them most definitely:~)

Just Great

I have always loved aniseed balls but haven't had them in a very long time.I saw them on Amazon and decided to get them.Although the they taste very nice they are not quite as good as they used to be. You can tell they've messed around with the ingredients slightly. I used to get great satisfaction on eating these until I found the tiny little bit of brown aniseed right in the centre. However this is something that doesn't seem to be in these aniseed balls. Sadly, for me, these aniseed balls were a bit of a disappointment. They weren't unpleasant; just a bit feeble.No taste at all for the first ten to fifteen seconds – I might just as well have popped a marble in my mouth. After that, a mild aniseed flavour did begin to emerge. It lasted a couple of minutes and was pleasant enough, but the taste was very mild – so mild, indeed, that I rather wondered what had been the point of all that sucking.If, like me, you prefer your aniseed flavours to be really intense, with magnificent fumes of the stuff filling your mouth, then I’m afraid these are not for you.

Came in a plastic bag, easy, exactly what I wanted, aniseed balls are nice, packaging was simple, came early, what more could you ask for?

It's candy just like you'd get from the store. I don't like aniseed so they were bought as a gift. The candy comes in a plain sandwich bag so if you were planning on gifting these you'll probably want a presentation bag. Which is the only reason I knocked off a star which may be harsh but hey

not as nice as other aniseed balls I have bought in the past. Only thing good is they come in a resealable bag whereas most confectionery I buy comes in an open or sealed bag. still... doesn't warrant this product a "worth buying" statement from me
