I came across this CoBoo flange spray and after looking into what it’s made of, I figured it was worth a shot.The biggest thing for me is that it definitely reduced the friction with the pump flange. It just made the whole process feel a bit smoother and less…abrasive? It’s hard to explain, but if you pump, you probably know what I mean. I just spray a little directly onto the shield parts like the instructions say, and it seems to do the trick.I’ve been using it for a few weeks now, and while it’s not like pumping is suddenly my favorite activity, it’s definitely more bearable. My nipples are much less irritated afterward, and I haven’t had any more of those painful duct issues cropping up, which is a huge relief. Knowing the ingredients are vegan and lanolin-free also gives me peace of mind.Pros:Noticeably more comfortable pumping – less pulling and friction, which my skin appreciates.Seems to have helped with nipple soreness quite a bit.I haven’t had issues with clogged ducts since I started using it.As a pharmacist, I really value that it's vegan, lanolin-free, and made with ingredients I feel good about using on my skin, especially since I'm pumping so often.The spray bottle is pretty convenient for applying it right to the flanges without getting my hands all greasy.Cons:The bottle is 4oz, and while a little goes a long way, I pump pretty frequently, so I'm already keeping an eye on how long it'll last.Sometimes the spray comes out a little more like a stream than a fine mist, so I have to make sure I aim it well or spread it a tiny bit with the tip of the flange.Overall, I'm really glad I found this. I’ve been using this product for about 2 weeks now and overall, I’ve had a positive experience. The convenience of a spray over a balm is undeniable, making it easy to apply directly onto the flange without any mess. No more oily fingers or dealing with the inconvenience of applying and spreading the balm. In terms of effectiveness, I haven’t encountered any issues. The spray seems to provide necessary lubrication, making pumping a smoother and more comfortable experience. However, the bottle is on the smaller side and considering the price, I can’t help but feel like I’m running through it faster than expected. While the convenience and effectiveness are there, the value for money could be improved by offering a larger size or adjusting the price.

I rarely do reviews but this product deserves a five star! it’s a game changer for pumping! I’ve had mastitis and I am a super producer of milk, about 350 ML per pump, and this spray changed my life, so much easier and painless pumping!

I use this daily when pumping at work. I have been using this 5 days/week since October and the bottle is not empty yet! It makes pumping so much more comfortable and keeps my skin from getting pinched in the flanges.

Was told this is helpful for pumping. Spray some inside your flange before you pump and it helps to lubricate and no cause so much pain. Seems to work. It is a little oily

Was recommended to me by my lactation consultant and I haven’t tried any other brand because this one does so well. You only need one spray and the bottle last you a few months. I work full time and pump 3 times a day on weekdays and am only halfway through my first bottle 3 months in. The sprayer doesn’t always spray accurately or widely you’re not going to cover the whole flange area from one spray, but I just spread it with my pinky to keep it from getting too oily.

As a mom of two NICU babies, I could only exclusively pump as my babies did not latch. I pumped 8-10 times per day. This spray was a lifesaver!! The constant pumping created so much friction and soreness, that the pain was unbearable at times. But using this spray directly into the flanges caused the friction and pain of pumping to dissipate. I don't think I could have done months of pumping without this spray. I ended up stocking up because I used it so much. My baby never had any issues with the spray either. There's no scent and it's easy to clean. You won't regret getting this, save your breasts and sanity!
