Do yourself a favor especially if you are a woman: get your hands on as many do-it-yourself manuals whether it's Reader's Digest or Family Handyman books. They provide so much great information and you just can't beat the price! You can learn so much not only about how to do things yourself and save a lot of money, but you can see if the unscrupulous contractors are doing a good job when they come to your house to repair something. It's not just a book, it's an investment! I guarantee you that you can find something that can be used immediately!The book was carefully packaged and arrived as advertised. I took a lot of notes and will follow-up on a lot of the items I jotted down.

Book is decent if you are absolutely stupid on not knowing how to fix things. I bought this book because sometimes at the big box home improvement stores (especially the one that is marked orange) don't provide a lot of help. This book fortunately provided answers that I needed especially with roofing, gutters, plumbing and repairing a cracked asphalt driveway. I wish it had stuff like repairing fences but hey this book is helpful in everything related to the house.

Anyone buying and already own a home should buy this book. So much I have learned from reading this book.

I liked it. Anyone who want to do their own repair should have some knowledge how to do it right the first time.
