Decent quality for the cost. The actual drill is manual. The base spins loosely so you can rest the base in your palm while spinning the drilling end continuously. I've used these types of hand tools in the past and it does make it a lot easier and efficient. The tool is metal and we'll made. The attachments offer a wide variety. You get 3 separate bags with specific size drilling bits I didn't count how many. Then the specialty bits come in their own case. I'm not sure if it's recommended but since we own other bits, we may be able to use them with this tool if needed since the tip where the bits are inserted is adjustable to fit wider sized bits.

Just received this kit today and I used it to tap a carburetor jet, I will start by saying this is an absolutely great kit for the money. As a motorcycle mechanic I have seen that it is very easy to spend 10x more than this on a quality micro drill bit kit off the tool truck. Now that being said a lot of people who have left negative reviews on this product do not understand that some of these smaller drill bit sizes measure out to 0.1 and 0.3 which by design makes them very fragile and extremely easy to break. I have a MAC tools micro drill bit set and I have broken every drill bit from 0.1-0.5 reason is they are very fragile no matter the brand. Point is for the money you can not go wrong with this kit in anyway and I highly recommend getting it.. if you use it with caution.

This Pin Vise Hand Drill kit was purchased specifically for the 10 PCB mini drills. Every once in a while, some stubborn solder in a PCB through-hole via will require drilling out to clear it for a new component replacement. When solder wicking, solder vacuums both mechanical and electrical, and preheat hot plates fail to aid in removing solder from a through-hole via, these mini drills come in handy.Yes, the small drill bits are fragile. At my second tech job, the electrical engineer had better quality mini drill bits that also broke during major PCB rework. We went through a few mini drill bits that day.The pin vise hand drill is adequate and does the job. I have used better quality ones at my second tech job. The PCB mini drill storage case is okay and keeps the drill bits organized. It could be slightly better.For the price, kit is good, comes with several drill bits, and does the job. I will be purchasing one for small engine repair in the near future.

I do recommend this product to anybody that buys hand drills? It’s a good solid product easy to use I received all the items. that came with this nothing was damaged. It works perfect for what I need it for to drill holes in acrylic nails for charms. just like the ad shows is what you get great for small hands and you get plenty of drill bits to get the perfect accuracy

Needed something to drill hole in plastic and some small soft metal pieces, tried power drills with small bits but even with slow speeds they often split or melted plastic and really was just too powerful for my use. Found these, probably used by jewelers. They did the job, being able just to hand power like using a screw driver stopped the breakage and melt of plastic, and didn't disintegrate the small soft metal pieces. A really nice set if you do hobby work or crafts for putting small holes into small pieces of soft material. Wouldn't advise using on steel or any hard metal.

These drills are small so you have to be careful not to break them. Tha quality is great and I plan on using them for carburator clean out or then minute drilling. This is very specific use. The grip on the hand tool is good and functionality of the drill/tool is easy to use. Just be careful and slow.

I liked the number of bits and pieces that came. Unfortunately there were three baggies of drill bits with what appears to be 3 different size bits in each baggie, but no label on sizes. I'll have to mic and baggie them seperately later. The other bits as shown in the picture with the color collars and a measurement scale did come in a nice protective box and were clearly arranged by size, but the colors did not match the picture from the sale page and I had several duplicate colors of different sizes.
