This is a wonderful book, a fascinating read and a visual feast of Grima’s exquisite jewellery from the early days to the present. The author has chronicled the extraordinary life and legacy of Andrew Grima in a way that is both scholarly and hugely entertaining. It is a fitting tribute to a creative genius and style icon of the sixties and seventies and a collector’s item to treasure.

A very special book. The quality of detail from the paper, images & layout is extrodinary, and the story of Andrew Grima & the brand super compelling and well written. If you collect or are interested in beautiful design - this book is highly recommended. Coffee table perfection.

I have been waiting for this book for sometime ! It did not disappoint - Really lovely book about the genius of high jewellery design !

This is a coffee table book as sweetly box. Page after page of popping colour, gorgeous design and glamour. I looked forward to reading it and was not disappointed. The army tales, the foiling of robbers, the visits to Buckingham Palace: all delight! This is a beautiful book, Grima was inspirational and I can see his legacy in a number of modern jewellery houses. If you like jewellery buy this book.

Given the spectacular quality of Grima’s singularly imaginative pieces it’s an enormous disappointment that for the most part the illustrations are original artistic renditions and photos from the 60s and 70s. The results are matt, low resolution and ever so slightly dull. People with just a passing interest will be far better rewarded by googling ‘Grima jewellery’ and relishing the results….!

This is a wonderful book about the designs of a jewelry maker who is not a household name. Would make a great gift for any jewelry lover.

Andrew Grima's jewellery designs are inspiring. And I learnt a thing or two about jewellery making techniques he used. I haven't finished reading the book yet, but I find it interesting, and it prompted me to do research on some other names mentioned in the book.

Good photography. It was great to read about his inspirations and see the finished pieces he made from those inspirations.
