Nice replica for the money
Looks very similar to the image, with only minor differences. Easy to put the 2 pieces together. Made really well but edges are super sharp, especially the inside front portal. If you have a dremel tool it's easy to fix that. It was packed really well and shipped incredibly fast. Very happy I bought it.

Very difficult seller.
First of all, the seller is very difficult to deal with. The helmet is not as described. It’s not made from copper and brass. Plated at best. The mounting screws are a cheap design. Even for a replica, it’s very poor. I initiated a return for a full refund. Went smooth, at first. Then the seller kept emailing me and closed out the return after about a week even though my Amazon return email stated 30 days to return it. I found this odd. I’ve never experienced this kind of weird communication with a seller in the past. Finally received the refund after contesting thru Amazon. They were very helpful. The seller has since changed their company name twice since this started. It’s very suspect. I would not recommend this product or dealing with this seller.

Good copy
This is a very good copy for the price. It's brass plating, not cast, it's painted copper, not copper, but as a conversation piece, it's very nice.

I like it.
I was in the commercial diving industry for most of my life, while I was in training in the early 80's I got to dive in MK-V, Morse commercial and Jap Hats. To buy an actual one for a conversation piece would be about $5K+, this piece is a great conversation item and is pretty true to form for the money. I'm not sorry I bought it. It isn't the real deal but most people wouldn't know or appreciate the difference.

Not brass and copper. Painted steel but nice anyhow.
Not bad looking from a distance in the corner of the patio. Definitely not as described. I did not expect solid brass and copper like was advertised but I figured it would at least be brass plated but it is painted. And the seller ships them from India. If you keep your expectations low it's cool to look at I guess. Definitely not going to try to ship it back to India.
