Great for DIY Mortal Kombat costume
So, I’m probably not using this for it’s intended/advertised purpose, but seeing as it’s COVID times, it only felt socially responsible to live out my 90’s-kid dreams and be a masked ninja from Mortal Kombat this year for Halloween This mask works GREAT if you’re willing to put in a little DIY work. Notes from my experience below, hopefully saves you some time and trouble if you’re being Scorpion, Sub-Zero, or any other MK ninja this year! FIT/COMFORT/WEARING -The mask comes with straps (one to attach to a helmet, which has no use in my case, and one that straps it independently to your head). The strap system is NOT great; it’s suuuuper tight even at its loosest setting. Plus and other reviewers note, the included strap rides SUPER HIGH on your face (the upper edge was poking into my eyes). Not at all comfortable. -However, I found a quick/cheap/easy solution. I took a cloth face mask and used the posts on the mask to make a strap. This worked GREAT. It would look strange on its own, but for this costume nobody will see the back of my head anyway. -I’m sure there are a million other makeshift ways to make this work. Hair ties, headbands, etc. that can wrap around the existing posts. -The mask also includes 3 foam pads you can stick in the mask. I’ll have to comment after Halloween whether these stay put for multiple uses, but they do a great job of making the mask more comfortable (especially around the nose) - UPDATE 11/5: The included foam pads are holding up just fine after a few uses, I've attached only the nose pad and that's enough to keep it comfy. PAINTING TIPS -The mask is a flexible TPR plastic, which typically is hard to paint. -HOWEVER, after googling a bit a lot of people recommended Krylon Fusion spraypaint, and they were right! Smooth, even coating; no bubbles or cracks, even when the mask is moderately flexed during wear; zero priming or sanding beforehand required (just make sure it’s clean and dust-free) -Be sure to follow the directions on the can (thin light coats, drying time, etc) (Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LFPDBPP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fab_qR0HFb5N8EFS1 ) -UPDATE 11/5: The Krylon Fusion paint is holding up GREAT. We had a cold, wet, outdoor Halloween celebration and the paint has show no signs of chipping, flexing, cracking, etc. after multiple wears. Especially considering the mask itself is slightly flexible, this is a huge win. It also seems to be pretty water-repellent (I spilled at least a couple drinks on this bad boy). HIGHLY recommend this specific paint. Overall WAY cheaper than buying a “real” pre-made MK cosplay mask. You have to put in some (minimal) work, but that means you can customize it however you want! I’ll probably add some black accent marks later. Highly recommend for this purpose.

Amazing mask if plan to sand and paint it
I bought this product to use for my YouTube channel and general cosplay. I love it because it's a half mask and it resembles Mortal Kombat as others have mentioned. I went ahead and sanded it down on the inside and outside because I decided to paint it. The area near the nose is pretty jagged without foam padding, but after sanding it, it was not bad. I used the extra foam that came with the 3 cutouts to make it more comfortable around the nose area (big nose guy here). I also liked the straps... they weren't as bad as some people made them out to be. I ended up cutting them to accommodate my ears. So ended up with, 2 straps on each side and not 3. Comfort level before sanding and adding extra foam padding 4/10. Comfort level after sanding and adding the extra padding 9/10. Definitely makes for a fun project and for the price you really can't beat it.

Decent but I had to use glue
This is cool save one issue: the sticky stuff they put on the comfort pads do not hold them on and there are no "flat panel" areas for them to fit into well. You just have to stick them kinda wherever. I had to use gorilla glue to make them stay because after wearing it about 10 minutes and taking it off, one of the pads just fell off. The straps could be a bit more comfortable, but considering how cheap it is I didn't expect a luxurious fit. Pretty good, needs better comfort pads. I wound up buying this to attend an event and didn't even wear it. I thought of gluing the pads on afterward. Maybe I'll try it again, but this is a major part of the design and thought it would be a little better. 7/10

Extra Large mask
Im a female, this mask was super large for my face and I couldn't wear it at all despite the extra pieces for adjustments it included.

Looks cool, but it hurts your face
This item is just a piece of plastic with straps on it, the face padding is cheap foam stickers....it rides high on your face, and the way the straps are its not very adjustable to keep it in place....the main thing that sucks is the inside deign (or lack there of)....this thing absolutely digs into your nose, and hurts like hell if you wear it for more than 5 mins....I do have a big nose/narrow face... so in all fairness it might be just me....

Worth the money
Great buy fits great when I’m on the Harley, very breathable, look good, made of good material. Straps keep it from flying off at high speeds.

It looks cool but like most of the reviews say, it’s extremely uncomfortable! The straps don’t help at all, still trying to figure out how I will fix them to make it work so my nose isn’t torn to shreds. If you’re into cosplay and want a great looking mask with moderate customization for putting it on your face, this mask works. If you want something to fit off the bat, this is not it. 3 stars for the mask and the quality of the mask. 0 for the straps
