GoPro Ball Joint Buckle (All GoPro Cameras) - Official GoPro Mount

This buckle is probably THE easiest way to have your GoPro chin-mounted. It is very compact, yet provides enough range of motion to have a good angle even for a lean-forward helmet position. The trick is to mount the sticky pad horizontally and on the RIGHT side of the chin. That will place the lens more to the centerline of the helmet. This also keeps the chin vents functional on many helmets without blocking them permanently in a closed state. Keep in mind that this buckle is VERY tight, as it should be to eliminate all wiggle and rattle. To rotate it you have to find a way to grab the whole plastic mount. I wrap a piece of cloth or grab it with my motorcycle glove. I rotated and adjusted it many times without any issues. However, I think that it is meant to stay in one position, not constantly tweaking the angle.

Swivel will move if you hit bumps (If mounted on a car or atv/utv). Other than that it works very well.

Absolutely incredible mount. I have come back to buy a few more of these, and have also had a lot of my friends buy them. This is the cheapest place to get the mount. A lot of motorcycle helmets have very few mounting options. After a LOT of trial and error with a LOT of different mounts and setups, I discovered that using this mount is hands down the best way to go. It swivels in any direction and if you look closely at the attached picture (FRONT view), you'll see that I used a dremel to make it so that the GoPro could angle up a little better. So even though the bottom part of the helmet faces slightly down, the part that I rounded out allows the GoPro to angle up to see the road. The first movement you have to do firmly from the base, the following movements are already easier to do but maintaining firmness so that it does not move when using it with the camera. If you use it properly, it doesn't break because it's a quality product. Yo lo uso con “chetsy”

It is a nice mount, just like the one with the GoPro. However, I have a defective one that does not rotate at the ball joint. UPDATE: It broke loose and works now. It adds a lot more verity in angles than just the standard mount.

Versatile little dude. It's tight, like really tight when you first get it. So don't be surprised when you have to crank on it to get it to pivot. It's not ball joint, so it only rotates about one axis, but the camera rotates like normal on the opposite axis giving you everything angle you need. Happy filming.

This mount is essential for snowboarding and skiing. Well-made and works as intended.

No matter what level of force I apply to this mount, it will not rotate or pivot. After searching the reviews, it appears to be a known issue. I contacted support and they demanded a video of the product not working. It is easier to just return the defective product and buy an aluminum pivot mount from one of the third parties selling aftermarket mounts for the GoPro. I am new to GoPro and bought several mounts with the Hero10 and after getting this one I am starting to question the reliability of the OEM plastic mounts. I am putting those aside and buying all aluminum mounts and protective cages instead.

Does what it supposed to do. Very stiff to rotate. Hopefully will loosen up a bit.

Go pro Ball Joint mount satisfying the different angle for capturing.mount can easily fix to the base. The quality of finishing is good as we can see in those pictures.This is my second ball joint mount from Go Pro. Those mount legs will be broken easily if ur using it roughly .be careful in fixing and removing of mount to the base.i felt some delay in my shipment except that everything is fine
