Incredible quality for the price
I bought this to use on rougher or messier jobs than my beloved TRM Atom with burlap Micarta scales (about $250) and TRM Neutron with linen Micarta. It's an ounce and a quarter heavier than the Atom and thicker because of the heavily contoured G10. But it carries beautifully, far better than most Spydercos, those scales give a great grip, and it's probably the best value in an EDC folder out there. (The clip on the smaller model reportedly is an irritant on the grip, but that may be nitpicking.) I keep staring at this knife, unable to quite believe the quality. Whom can I buy one for? The grind, the edge, the lockup, the centering, the color intensity of the G10, the framelock release, the general aesthetics--all are excellent. D2 is a classic budget steel but I far prefer it to SV30. By far the best above-price item I have ever bought on Amazon.

Really great budget blade
This is one of the best $35 pocket knives out there.Pros:Excellent design and good QC.Evenly ground high Saber grind and edge bevels.Utilitarian blade shape that's easy to maintain.Reversible deep carry pocket clip.Drop shut action running on ceramic bearings with strong detent. No blade play in any direction (locks up tight).Comfortable and ergonomic contoured G10 handles.Classy appearance on a budget.Cons:A little heavy at 4.19oz (no milling on liners)Clip screws are not recessed, making pocketing & unpocketing more difficultClip itself sits a little tall on blade creating minor hotspot on handle.Sent the wrong color (ordered brown received black)All in all, one of the most compelling budget knives. Highly competitive with steel will, ruike, civivi, ganzo, and even the coveted Ontario rat knives.

Much better than expected!
This is a great knife! I get a little bit of a hot spot from the pocket clip location but, for my use, not a big issue. I seen the reviews saying how this knife was well made and, the reviews were correct. Dollar for dollar this is one of the best tools in my collection. It came razor sharp, centered and with excellent action. I was mildly worried about the D2 (my first D2 blade) but, it holds an edge very well. This was my first but, not last, CJRB knife.

fairly light 3.8oz (jumbo) comfortable ergo very nice sharp blade. struggle to open at times
i really wanted to like this knife and i do but......despite nice and light and nice shape and blade. can be extremely hard to pry open with the thumb studs. i thought maybe it would loosen up and even lubed the bearing. no help. takes way to much effort to get the blade opening in a flick. sometimes it seems okay but other times it's really hard to get enough pressure on the stud to get it to start moving. major downfall. but for 28 bucks for the jumbo it's still pretty nice. at 3.8 oz it is respectable weight and great to carry . if it doesn't start loosening up i'll probably return it. i read another similar review so it's not just my sample.

One of my favorites.
I own too many knives. Really. But for a large folder, this is my favorite. Great grip, smooth action, extremely sharp, and good steel. I love the lines, and the edge is perfectly ground. This is a lot of knife for the money.

Great knife for a great price
Just wanted to let any potential buyers know that I ordered the full size Feldspar in brown on February 4th, 2021 and my knife came with recessed clip screws and milled out liners. Blade was centered and the detent is just right, it was not hard at all to use the thumbstuds to deploy the blade.

Has it's issues but 7/10 overall
Thumbstud seems to be in a strange location ergonomically. I have regular guy hands and utilizing the thumbstud is not fluid or smooth.Once deployed though the knife is very slicey and very useful for medium everyday work. Tip does appear to be susceptible to breaking off as it is so fine. Good lockup, good bearings, aligned well from factory just not my smoothest CJRB by far.

Wrong Color, Great Knife
Wrong color sent. CJRB, please fix. Your private messages did not help as you didn’t respond to my request.Great action on the knife and very ergonomic. The blue that I got wasn’t bad, it’s just that I can rot dye it red like I wanted to with this wrong color that was sent
