Stila Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner

The color I purchased [bora bora] is decent. However, there is NO sparkle whatsoever and the consistency of the eyeliner is a bit water-like. When I tried to take the eyeliner off with makeup remover, there was a blue-green color left behind on my eyelids even a day later. Spending twenty-two dollars on eyeliner is a bit ridiculous in itself but not getting any glitter payoff and having the water-y consistency is disappointing, as the glitter is what the product promises. I'll keep it because it's a decent color but if you're looking for something with a little sparkle, I would advise against it.

If I were stranded on a desert Island and could have only one thing it would be this eyeliner! Applies beautifully, has amazing staying power and the color is STUNNING! Not harsh, but subtle and soft. Makes my eyes pop! I am in my early 40's and like a soft natural look, but still polished. I can't wear a real deep black, as my skin is fair and I have blue eyes and dark brown hair so black is just too harsh for me. But this color is truly beautiful and everything I was looking for!I was a bit uncertain about the idea of something with sparkle in it for my age, but the sparkle is not overwhelming it is soft and just pretty and is very reflective. My daughter walked into the bathroom and we were playing with the make-up and she put it on me and said "Wow, So pretty it picks up the sparkle in your eyes" and that is exactly what it does! It reflects and twinkles just a bit…enough so that it enhances and doesn't overwhelm. After all you want people to say "Oh she is so pretty" not "Oh look at her make-up"There are not to many things I could share with my 21 and 19 year old daughters. After all I am not their age and trying to look their age, is just tacky. But this eyeliner is definitely one of those things they could wear, and I will definitely wear. I am buying another color, Spectrum and can't wait to try it! I know my daughters will be buying the black and the gorgeous blues in this simply stunning eyeliner!

this went on easily and had nice flow, but once dry, it is not so much sparkly as it is chrome/metallic. It will also create a barrier around itself if you use other eye liners and smudgers in the area, so at day's end, all thats left is this crude line of hard brown semi-metallic brown liner that show all of your flaws as a painter.

I initially purchased this eyeliner at Ulta in case I needed to return it. After I found out how great it is, I purchased three more from Amazon b/c they were cheaper (yay Amazon!) Most eyeliners say "smudgeproof" but don't really mean it. This Stila Sparkle one does (and all the sparkle colors do!) I have hooded eyelids and I've never been able to wear an eyeliner that actually stays put. I always end up with the half moons above my eyes where the eyelids have drooped over. From the very first time I've worn these (I have four colors) they stayed put each and every time. I can cry, I can laugh, I can go swimming. This eyeliner is the bomb! It's a little different from most eyeliners that I normally use. I definitely have to shake it up as it can be a little "watery" if not. And I need to take a few extra seconds to let it dry on my eyelid, but after that, viola! It doesn't come off until I intentionally take it off. And the sparkle is subtle - almost more of a metallic than a glitter -- but that doesn't deter me. I love this eyeliner! And I love that I can wear it without have the mirror image half moon above my eyeball. :)

Application is easy and color is nice but VERY faint. You have to almost dab it on to get enough liner in one area to color it richly. If you take the time you can get nice coverage but it wears off quickly. I prefer the smudge sticks for all day wear and color.

The "sparkle" is really fun - too bad I'm past my clubbing days, but it's nice for an evening out. See my review starting with "I used to use cake eyeliner" under this product in dark brown.

The color is beautiful!! Goes on like a dream, just DON'T turn the container upside down accidentally. The product runs out and there you are with $20 less than you had a moment ago.

It's not as sparkly as I imagined and not as dark, but an extra coat will darken it. It is definitely waterproof!! I didn't wash it off before bed one night and it was exactly where I put it the next morning!
