Good for the Price
I've owned and used the more expensive regulators, Miller, Harris and Victor brands to name a few. They work very good and generally trouble free for many years. These are a Victor "Knock Off" made in China. However, that doesn't exclude the fact that they function just like the expensive Victor. Hopefully, they will endure the abuse of a decent welder and last as long as the better named brands. For the price, in my opinion, they are well worth the effort to find out. So far, they have made a believer out of me.

Great starter kit
My nephew is working to become a certified welder, and he’s been using this kit for school and home projects. So far everything has worked exactly as it should. The tools and gauges are fairly well made (according to his instructor) and have performed well. The goggles could’ve been excluded from the kit as a welding helmet provides much better eye and face protection and these are fairly flimsy. While this kit won’t be something that would stand up to professional, on the job, heavy duty daily use, it is going to work well for smaller projects he’s working on, like building me a set of the wood and metal industrial-look shelves. This kit is compatible with Victor welding products, though the Victor products are of a higher quality. One item that should also be included with this kit but isn’t is a tip cleaner. The tool bag is a nice addition, though using a hard case tool kit helps to keep everything in a secure place rather than jumbled up in a bag.

A good bargain priced torch set up
This is essentially a Chinese manufactured clone of a traditional Victor torch. Several companies market these clones, and they all seem similar. In hobby use I doubt anyone will ever be able to tell a real difference between the clone and the original. I have no way to judge if the materials and internal construction are such that a user can expect similar service life from an original Victor torch vs. a clone. From a little use I can say that this set works as expected and is about half the price of the original.

Welding accessory kit compatible with Victor products. Need to buy other items like tanks, etc. to use this kit.
This Flame Technologies brand accessory kit is geared for medium duty welding. The kit has acetylene & oxygen regulators, a medium duty torch handle with cutting attachment, cutting tips, a welding nozzle (up to 1/8”) and 20 feet of 3/16” twin T grade hose with a B fitting. There is also a tip cleaner, googles, spark lighter, and bag included. It is compatible with Victor products, so you will need to buy tanks (and fill them) and welding rods in order to use the accessory kit. The tanks, rods, & gas are not inexpensive.

Flame Technologies Torch Set
This is a nice medium duty torch kit, compatible with Victor products and comparable to their medium duty kit for about fifty dollars less. Good starter set that includes everything except your tanks and rods to begin cutting and welding. Seems to be of good quality and nothing I have observed would lead me to believe it would not perform as expected and provide years of trouble free service.

Robust torch kit
For years I've intended to eventually pick up an oxy-acetylene kit but never got around to it. A kit like this will get you half-way there. You'll still need to buy tanks, a cart and get them filled with gas to get started. For not much more than the price of this kit you can buy a kit that includes 2 small tanks and presumably lighter duty brass fittings. This kit is sold as medium duty but it looks like it should last for decades if not abused or used round-the-clock in a production environment. As supplied the kit I received did not include the tip cleaner, perhaps an oversight. The green goggles were replaced with something more like very dark sunglasses. Those rubber enclosed goggles are uncomfortable anyway, imo, so good riddance.I haven't acquired the tanks yet, but the quality of the kit inspires confidence. Also, the included tool bag is robust and padded, not the disappointingly flimsy type you'd sometimes get with tool kits.
