this is quality
I ordered two other wetsuit tops from Amazon and returned them before trying this one. Once you figure out what size you need buy this one.I am 6-1, 198 lbs, size 44 suit coat 42 chest, 37 waist, arms out stretched 71 1/2" to finger tips, 55 1/2" wrist to wrist. Normal T shirt I wear a large, dress shirt large. In this top I found a XXL fit perfect in chest, snug to skin with no extra space. Sleeve length was to wrist. Waist was very snug but not uncomfortable as I have a bit of belly and am large through diaphragm area. This material is very stretchy, think compression shirt (in Hawk compression shirt I wear a large). Also be aware wetsuits loosen slightly when wet.For those new to wetsuits: a dry wet will not keep you warm. A wet suit works by trapping and holding a thin layer of water between it and your skin. Your body heats that layer and the neoprene of the suit insulates that layer from the surrounding water or air. A wet suit needs to be snug to your skin when wet so dry it should be slightly stretched or very snug not tight. If your suit is too loose water can move between it and your skin constantly carrying away your body heat.Note: two other brands advertised as 2mm were no thicker than this 1.5mm. There are different grades of neoprene and the nylon covering (wetsuits used to be all neo, then nylon one side Neoprene 1, then along came neoprene 2 with nylon both sides. Neo2 is standard now). The nylon denier and thread count also varies. Yes nylon does stretch when wet. This top fits as well as top brands I used when I was actively diving. When you move your arms up there is almost not void space at armpits and upper sides as in cheap poor fitting suits. I find I can paddle white water without pulling and fatigue in this as the arm/shoulders are so well designed. The stitching looks as good or better than some brand names. The shoulder design is excellent for free movement without fatigue or voids causing water infiltration. The thread count of the nylon covering the neoprene is higher than most. The only downfall is the zipper(which is excellent as is the wide neo "storm flap" behind zipper) is on the wrong side for men. Apparently the Chinese do not differentiate between male and female clothing as far as zipper pull placement as we and most of the world do. They just consider them unisex and always place the pull on the left.To me regardless of your budget this is the top to purchase. Spend more if you have to, but you will not get a better fit. NOTE: Unless you are female and purchase a female specific top, which I highly recommend for comfort and warmth as the anatomical shape of the chest allows the top to fit snugly under your breasts and snug to your upper abdomen. This avoids the top leaving a gap where cold water can move under your breasts and against your lower chest. Keeping your head and chest warm are two major areas that determine the warmth of the rest of your body and avoiding loss of body heat which can lead to dangerous complications.I would like to see this manufacturer should address this point and offer a female specific top of the same quality as these unisex they now offer.Ref: open water diver with salvage cert; whitewater paddler and instructor , also rec and coastal

Works great!
My husband loves this for days at the lake. He typically wears a M so that is what I ordered. It works, but is a little snug. May want to size up. The zipper is great for being able to get off at the end of the day. He said it is comfortable and works great to keep him warm.

Follow their size guide and you'll be fine.
I am 6'3" (190cm) and 230 lb (104kg). I ordered the XXXXL (4X). It fits as a wetsuit should fit on my frame; close fitting, but not "Michelin Man" tight. I may look like a "busted can of biscuits" when I'm sitting down, but that's what those of us with 6-pack abs looks like...when we keep the 6-pack in a "soft-side cooler."This is NOT a rash guard or a t-shirt, so don't expect it to fit like one. The sleeves are long, going all the way to the base of my palms (normal shirt sleeve length is 36/37"). The cuffs are close to my wrists, but not super-snug. The torso is long, as it should be for a taller person, easily going down over my waist to help protect from weight belt and BCD chaffing. The material doesn't have a lot of bag or slack, but rotating my arms in full circles, like a "breast stroke" motion, and full front to back, is no problem. The suit moves easily, stretching and giving, with my motions. The seams are well sewn. There doesn't seem to be any stitch "pricklies" inside. The zipper works well and is beefy, for ease with diving gloves. The neckline is slightly lower than a mock turtle neck, stopping at the nape of my neck, not covering it.My only wish, given it's a front-zip, is that it came with a small zipper-stop flap up near the neckline to prevent unzipping in water. I'll find out if I need to use a brass safety pin when I test it out in water.

They work – because...
Review: ZCCO 3mm top (2XL) & bottom (L) separates.Opinion: Very good, would recommend.Synopsis: Sizing fits my body, doesn’t not ride up, no chaffing/itch, warm, flexible, friendly price. My body: Male, 190 lbs, slight paunch - not lean, 42” chest, 36” waist, 5’ 10”ht, inseam 32”, normal shirt size is large, age = senior. My swim: Ocean, Narragansett RI, temperature 61-62 degrees, tread water fully submerged save head for an hour & a quarter.Comparison: I purchased the 3mm top/bottom this year but have a 1.5mm set from this vendor from 2021 which treat me well. I tried both Dive & Sail and Surf Squared for 3mm sets last year with no luck for my particular case. My biggest problem sizing is the other brands chest sizing would work, but the waist would gap open in the sea and I would freeze up.Detail: Many things to like with ZCCO as it fits, if it doesn’t fit nothing else matters. The 3mm upgrade over my 1.5s gives me earlier access to the ocean as we are slow to warm here. I worried about the increased thickness hampering my movement but not an issue. Pretty easy on/off given they are neoprene. Front zip top is the best, sturdy, easy grab, no meaningful leakage. Slight butt sag on the bottoms, not much.Longevity: My 1.5mm set has about 150 ocean swims of an hour plus – so I am optimistic.

Wet suit top
The wetsuit top isn’t very good. While in the water the bottom always rides up to my chest. I would not buy this brand again. I wish that I had not waited so long to return it.
