Memory has gotten to be so cheap! This is a great flash thumb drive!
I digitized almost all of my music collection and put it on this drive. Now I can carry my tunes with me wherever I go! With room to spare for future acquisitions!

Disappointing, do not buy this!
I have used Verbatim for years and years and thought very highly of them. I had floppy disks from this company for my Amiga 500 back in the days and they were the best. This USB stick is so slow, it's slowing my Mac opening window with files on this stick. I had to copy 50GB on to 64GB stick and the whole day is not enough. I tried 3 Mac computers, two with USB version 3, one Mac with USB version 2, USB 3 hub with external power etc. It only goes slower and slower. Its the worst rubbish I tried in a long time, to a point I believe it is a fake product or Verbatim has gone down. It is slower than USB 1. I am IT Technical Support expert and I have never seen branded product of such low quality. At this speed it will take me over 1 year to copy 50GB of data(!).

very very slow but functional
ok i got this as a backup drive for my pc as i needed a larger file drivethis is a VERY VERY slow drive in these days of crazy transfer speeds and usb3 devices this stick feels like its from thedark ages . 4 hours 59 mins too fill the drive full that is a long long time so if you want this for anything i would suggest non important storage and basic things .. playing a 4 k file from this is IMPOSSIBLE so be aware of thisaltho it does work for backing up my filestested with h2test for authenticity and it passes fine read and write .... so not a fake and thats great .cheap drive but at a cost of performance in a big way

Pathetically slow
I was attracted to this USB stick by the high GB/£ value, but the read/write performance is utterly tragic. When writing a few tens of GB of large video files to the stick, the typical write speed is ~4MB/s, which is truly like something from a bygone age. I thought the stick might be faulty, but then read the product description in detail and noticed that this is apparently the expected performance for this drive. I guess that one is on me, for not having read in detail originally, but I really didn't have any idea they made USB drives this big and yet this slow, so didn't feel compelled to have to read the small print...Can't comment as to its durability as I've only had the drive for ~24 hours, but I can envisage using this for medium-term backup/storage purposes only. Anyone wishing to regularly transfer files at speed is advised to consider alternative methods, such as USB 3.0 sticks, Dropbox or carrier pigeon.

Load of garbage!
I have only had this a few moths and it turned against me. It suddenly got Write protection when I did nothing of the kind, I tried to get rid of it bout couldn't, then ALL the files on it corrupted and I lost days of work! Now the thing wont even delete. If it had a guarantee id be asking for my money back.Avoid and buy a better brand. you buy cheap you get cheap.

Useless.
When I received the Flash Drive I formatted it to Fat32. Then it stopped working. I copy some files to it then it keeps disconnecting itself & I can't write to it anymore, then I have to Format it again to get it to work, but even then it only works once, once you write to it it doesn't work again until you format it. I bought another Flash Drive & the same thing happened. They're useless.
