What an amazing concert of James Taylor, his music, his sense of humor, and keen sense of connecting with his audience! Loved it!

If you like James Taylor as much as I do, you'll love One Man Band. It's such a personal, intimate concert by an incredible singer, songwriter, guitar player. I love the fact that he communicates in such a neighborly way with his audience. His stories, his wit and sense of humor add so much enjoyment to this special evening, recorded in a beautiful historic theater in his beloved Berkshires. The songs are breathtaking! You'll fall in love with them all over again after watching this DVD. Some wonderful surprises await you here too! I won't give them away. You;ll have to own it to find out! You will be overjoyed!

This is an excellent concert!

I reviewed this video previously, giving it three stars because Amazon said it was not widescreen and because it was not Blu Ray. That was before I bought the video. In a moment of weakness, I decided that it was worth it, in spite of these limitations. And I'm glad I did. In spite of the contrary description, it IS widescreen, and with up conversion from a great DVD player, it is nearly Blu Ray in quality. Originally I gave it five stars for content, but now it gets five stars all the way. I agree with other reviewers that it is a performance worth watching over and over. If you enjoy James Taylor's music, you will probably love this video.

James is hilarious; a great musician and entertainer. My wife and I saw him at Motntage Mountain in Scranton PA, and as a musician I was blown away in a similar way as when we saw Bella Fleck, Tower of Power, or Gaelic Storm. Obviously different, but amazing music.Anyway, this is a masterful performance with just James and piano player (a little help here and there). If you like James, good guitar playing, or just good music you will not regret this purchase. The Pull Over DVD is also great. My 3 and 6 year old children ask for it all the time.

Anyone who has ever enjoyed James Taylor's music will definitely enjoy spending a couple of hours watching and listening to this concert. It was filmed and recorded at the restored Colonial Theater in Pittsfield, MA and the intimate venue adds to the experience. His voice is still clear and his unique musicianship is flawless. Introductions to some songs are as entertaining as the songs, themselves. It is rare that someone who recorded music in the 60's is still relevant, today. This dvd is a testament to his talent and is one that I believe most persons will enjoy watching many times.

This really is a wonderful concert broadcast on the BBC 2 or 3 years back so good in fact that I had to import this DVD! 10/10
